Bronson Park

Kalamazoo's favorite outdoor space, Bronson park defines Christmas for generations of visitors who flock here to see a wonderland of lights during the holidays. Park is ringed by some of the city's best architecture; an impressive array of cathedrals and municipal buildings. A strolling park in summer months, featuring a historically significant art-deco fountain (under restoration), and band shell.

Great place to walk around during lunch or with the family. Many Ingress portals for those who play, plus free WiFi. Many unique buildings flank the park such as the Ladies Library and City Hall. Don't forget to visit the walk mall one block away.

The park has a significant homeless population. There was a lot of garbage and it was overflowing the storage containers. The fountains looked rough. The event (2017 Heart Walk) was fine though. Thanks to the city for allowing the use of the park.

Pretty park. Went during the day to take a walk on a break. Bit of a homelessness situation during the day, but they’re people too...so it’s all good. Just a bit of a wake up call as to what’s going on in our city.

l would rate the park a 5 star if there weren't so many ignorant and offensive protests about how white people are all racists and evil with an evil corporate government that wants to enslave other groups of people. I just wanted to look at the pretty Christmas lights...
