Story

A full small animal service facility offering vaccination and wellness programs, surgery, dentistry, digital radiography and grooming, to just name a few.

The Colborne Veterinary Clinic was established in 1972 by Dr. Ken Moore, from Villa Nova. The name Colborne, was chosen to honour the clinic's geographical location, which is part of an area once known as Colborne Village. Dr. Moore, along with a partner, initially operated the practice catering to large animals. In 1981, Dr. David Horton and a partner purchased the practice, where along with associate veterinarians they continued to work until 1988, when Dr. Horton became the sole practice owner. He, along with associate veterinarians continued to see both large and small animals, until 1999, when the large animal component was stopped.

In 1995, the clinic underwent a major expansion. Even today, we are always upgrading our medical equipment and physical structure as technology advances. We like to ensure our facility is both great to work in, and pleasant for our clients and patients to visit.

The Colborne Veterinary Clinic is now owned by Dr. Paul Arora. He purchased the clinic in the summer of 2010, when after 35 years of practicing Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Horton decided to think about retirement. Dr. Arora continues to see patients 6 days a week.
