Be careful, this place is dangerously good. Nice interior with cozy and comfy vibes. Super capable staff and incredible selection of desserts and drinks. If you are nearby don’t miss this place. Cool seats in the back for a group to hang out.
Latte is really yuuummy, omg, very thick milk foam I love it. Highly recommend their dessert, especially gorgeous ball shaped cheese cake. It is coated with a thin layer of syrup, not too sweet with a hint of lime sour, fresh, smooth, best cheese cake 5 stars!
Great café with good espresso, and fantastic choice of pastries. There is plenty seating and parking along the road. The baristas are super nice too. My only complaint at the time of visit would be - the wifi was lagging somewhat. I hope it was an intermittent issue and/or the owners fix it asap. Definitely recommend this spot.
A relaxing coffee shop with very unassuming but God tier baked goods... I originally came here just to grab a quick coffee, since it was close to where I needed to be that afternoon, when a lone cinnamon bun near the register changed everything. I'm currently living in Surrey but have already been back twice since. I even changed Costco locations now because apparently "a cinnamon bun" isn't a valid reason to my wife for why I NEED to drive to Coquitlam every weekend. Anyways, as you can tell from my photo, sometimes the universe likes to throw you curve balls. Sometimes, even tho you drove for 20 entire minutes, there isn't a cinnamon bun there waiting for you. Yes, like I, you may feel the overwhelming urge to start punching air. But please do not fret. Because why you ask? Cinnamon. Bread. Pudding.
I’ve been around the coffee business for many years. I was in the neighbourhood and googled “coffee shop”. Vanilla popped up. I’m skeptical of small shops as most of them are not great. To my surprise and delight Vanilla is a hidden gem. They do their own baked goods and they use Oughtred One of the best coffee and absolutely top notch equipment. The cafe is sparkling clean and the staff is warm and friendly. Go to Vanilla!
Went on a weekday afternoon. Parking was a bit difficult to find, but there are spots available in the front and the back. Ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. The cafe also has seasonal drinks like the pumpkin spice latte, which are beautifully displayed on a menu board. I was asked if I wanted to change it from regular milk, but was not told that it would be an extra fee. It would have been kind if I was notified of the extra fee before confirming. The latte had a good amount of foam on top, but the flavour was not as rich as it could be. I would have preferred more matcha powder to have a deeper flavour. Service was fair and quick. You can take a business card and have it stamped when you purchase a coffee or baked good. Had to ask the staff at the front to stamp it. The cafe also sells some local goods candles, coffee beans, etc., which can be found adjacent to the front counter.
This place was so good to spend my weekend time! Staffs were kind, drinks and breads look so delicious! Definitely I will visit again
One of my favorite coffee shops in town. The place is clean, baby friendly, and they have a great selection of pastries.
Tried vegan scones, Avocado&cheese sandwich, Americano, latte, and Mocha and these all were great, plus reasonable price. Staff are kind and place is not too small or big but cozy. Americano is the best in this area: mild & appropriate acidity. If you prefer those flavors & taste but not as strong as Starbucks, you would be satisfied.
Very cool cafe. Ordered the espresso and it was outstanding! Also got a coffee cake, which was one of the best coffee cakes I've ever had top 3 for sure. Would definitely go back. Wife got a latte which was also very delicious. Cute decorations and friendly staff. Lots of different baked goods to try out. Shop items too!
