Story

The Hag serves organic and fair trade coffee, teas, and espresso as well as a small menu of fresh, delicious vegetarian food. Our gallery wall features a different local artist each month and our house stage offers live entertainment from local performers on Friday and Saturday evenings. Come see and what's made The Hag a local favorite for 20 years!

The Coffee Hag has been a positive experience since 2006.  Interesting and original art created by local artists.  Weekends provide light and lively entertainment featuring a variety of styles.  The owner and staff and patrons have been warm and inviting.  And the food and coffee. Supreme.  Absolutely fantastic.  You must stop and you to will be a new friend.  Cheers.

I used to come here all the time in high school, but it's so much cleaner and nicer now! I loved it when it was a hole in the wall, but as an adult, I really appreciate the clean bathrooms and overall feel of the place as it is now. They still have the same great Italian sodas and the always delicious vegetarian food options, plus local art for sale and local artists performing regularly. It's a relatively quiet place, good for doing homework during the week days, but can get pretty busy and is understandably loud during live performances.

The Coffee Hag is everything I want in a good local coffee shop, served with care and attention. Live music frequently, local artists'work on the walls, and locally made baked goods add to the warmth. Last time in, I ordered a mocha and a fudge bar to celebrate some good news. My server chatted with me briefly as she dished up my bar, then offered to bring out my drink when done. It arrived shortly with a smile and a flower design in the milk foam. And they care enough to use recyclable and compostable take out ware. My kind of place.

Best coffee in Kato hands down. Everyone is welcome. All backgrounds come to hangout and chill, study, or listen to music here. Owners are the best people. This is what a local business should be. Also the Bee's Knees is the bomb
