Renowned for our excellent raisin buns, whipping cream cakes, and speciality breads, here at the Coaldale Bakery, we have been providing the town of Coaldale with European style baked goods and Dutch imports since 1986.

Story

Our helpful, friendly staff supply far more than mere baked goods. We carry a large selection of pastries, including our famous vanilla slices, freshly made donuts every day, in-stock and special order cakes including many fantastic new varieties, wedding cakes, imports, and much more... you will just have to see for yourself! If you are looking for a quick, fresh, nutritious and delicious lunch or looking for someone to provide catering to your next event the Coaldale Bakery is it. Of course if you are just in the mood for coffee, our cappuccino cafe is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a nice hot cup of java and a fresh baked snack! The Coaldale bakery is a gem in the town of Coaldale. Super friendly staff, excellent selection of baked goods of all kinds and the best lunch special in town. It’s my favorite place to go for lunch. This is an example of the special donuts right now. They have all the Canadian teams.
Coaldale Bakery went above and beyond for my wife’s surprise 50th birthday cake! Not only was it absolutely delicious, but the decorative work was spot on, exactly what I had envisioned. Every detail was flawless, from the design to the flavors, and it truly made the celebration extra special. My wife was blown away, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! We've heard a lot about this bakery and finally had a chance to stop in on our way through Coaldale. We got some sausage rolls and a few pastries. Everything was really good! Prices were very reasonable. What a great place. I wish they would open a second location in my hometown.
I will drive miles out of my way to go to this bakery. Excellent, friendly customer service. They are best visited in the morning as they run out of some of the good stuff in the afternoon. Their sausage rolls are delicious! - especially the spicy ones! Their cinnamon buns are extra sticky. I like the ones with pecans, and they appear only after a special order. The sandwiches are delicious, and there is usually a daily special. The lineup goes quickly. They have added a nice seated area where you can enjoy your treats. It's definitely worth the stop for quality products.
Bakery located Downtown Coaldale. Very well organized and clean establishment. With a variety of products, very well and nicely packed. There are two tables to sit there and enjoy a coffee and a bread. Lots of friends recommended this place. When I finally got to go. I was disappointed. The service wasn't nice, it was my first time there, I didn't know exactly what to order and the cashier was rushing me in a bad mood. There was nobody in the line. I ordered a coffee but it was nothing special just a simple coffee with no other options. The bread donuts and cookies are visually nice but the taste is just way too sweet for me. It's sweet over sweet. I was expecting much more for the price. There is a parking lot and a grocery store beside the bakery.
