Before joining Cluny Bistro, Executive Chef McDonald headed culinary programs in New Zealand, the Caribbean, Mexico, and on both Canadian coasts. During McDonald’s five year post as the founding
Executive Chef of Newfoundland’s Fogo Island Inn, the restaurant was awarded the number three spot on enRoute Magazine’s Best New Restaurants in 2013 and twice sat among Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants annual list.
The Cluny Bistro recipe includes 1 big, crazy dream, 11,000 sq. ft. of beautiful space designed by Munge Leung Design (Canada’s top hospitality design firm), a world-class, Canadian-born Chef (who loves to eat what he creates), 100 caring hearts from our hospitality team, 1 elite management team, and a dash of creativity and playfulness!
