Had to find a boarding kennel for two Huskies 2 yrs & 8 mths over the holiday break on short notice, and Club Mead came highly recommended by coworkers. So thankful they were able to accommodate, and I just picked up two very happy boys!! The team at Club Mead were fantastic, and sent updates to let us know how their stay was going over the past week. We have a usual daycare that we have also used for boarding our older husky great too but smaller & already booked but would absolutely recommend and will be going back to Club Mead for vacations!!!
Nothing but great service from Club Mead, they take the best care for my dog Buddy. He’s been staying there while we’re away for work starting back in July. He is currently staying there and he looks so happy and in great shape when we go to pick him up. The owners are the absolute best when it comes to having to take your pet to the vet. They keep you updated and treat your pet just how you would treat your own. Zero complaints about this great facility. 100 percent recommend this to anyone
I was very skeptical about boarding my dog, as I have never been in a position to have to board a dog . Club Mead came recommended by my doggy day care and obedience training instructor. Chara Kira was happy and well adjusted at pick up and drop off both times she's been there. Staff are lovely and supportive. Proximity to the airport and Park N Fly is also an asset Will definitely be back.
This was our first time trying out this kennel and we loved it! Booking was super easy as it is all done online. I did call and inquire abour availability and the woman on the phone assured me there was space, thank goodness because our regular kennel had been booked up for months! Drop off was super smooth and pickup was good too. We left our dog here for 10 days the longest we have ever boarded her for and she seemed to be in great spirits when we picked her up. Will definitely use again.
I boarded my 18 week old pup here while we went out of town. The staff were super! My pup came back to me clean, nails grinded and with all items he left with. He seemed to enjoy his stay!
Our two dogs spent three nights here last week. Good online booking system. One dog came home with kennel cough. Your dog will be fed and kept safe here, but don’t expect warm and friendly. I called the first evening to check in and was told they’d text me back in a few hours. At 9pm I had to follow up because I hadn’t heard back. Being new to Alberta, google reviews are very valuable in finding new businesses for my family. I was disappointed to see Club Mead incentivized 5 star reviews.
Took our almost 2 year old poodle in to be boarded for 5 days, we chose clubs Mead because in previous my parents always came home happy from staying here. Front staff were kind and polite when dropping off our dog. Unfortunately our dog was returned to us dirtier than expected, and her feet were soaked for a reason that was not explained to us. She also displayed some signs of anxiety after we got her home, she also had a cough, was sneezing, and sniffling and had a rash on her elbows/armpits. She chewed at her rash so much that she has bald spots there, we took her to the vet and explained her health and that she had been boarded at a kennel. The vet told us she had kennel cough, a rash, and parasitic nose mites, all of which she had probably picked up when boarded. I understand that kennel cough is not 100% preventable even with vaccinations but the combination of kennel cough, rash, and mites was concerning to us. My fiancé emailed the owner privately to inform him of our experience and so that they could take further precautions so that other pets didn’t get mites and rashes, our email was responded to with no concern for our dog’s well being, and we were simply told that he cannot speak for the conditions she was kept in as he was not there. This was disappointing as well for us.
Beau has stayed at Club Mead numerous times and is always happy to go there. The staff knows him and we know he is well looked after during his stay.
My dog Pepsi loves Club Mead. Pepsi has fun at club mead playing with ll her friends. Pepsi is tired after a day of fun and games. Sometimes she can barely stay awake and has nap before playing with my kids. Thanks again to the excellent staff & management team. If you have tried the rest, Club Mead is truly the best!!!!
