I got an appointment through GAP within a week after calling. When I went to the CLSC, it was easy to find, the parking was free I went in the evening, I was seen quickly, and the RN, Marie-Pier, was FABULOUS. She explained everything she was doing and was so kind and friendly. I had a great experience.
The clinic is practically not visible from the street, failing to see the address due to the work which hides the building I arrived 15 minutes late and my appointment was cancelled. I waited 3 weeks for my appointment, it's absolutely shameful, impossible to speak to a person face to face I was immediately referred to the telephone line, I waited 10 minutes on the phone for my appointment to finally be cancelled.
With appointments made via the web, the service is faster, which avoids waiting for hours. Almost all health professionals are very courteous and kind.
I had an appointment this morning, May 17 at 11:20 a.m. Have the stitches on the left cheek removed and steri-strips applied. I dealt with an exceptionally competent and professional nurse. Mr. Sasha Roy. Friendly, courteous young man who took all the necessary precautions not to cause any infectionnDuring a similar operation on an ankle about 2 years ago, a lack of precaution on the part of the nurse caused a major infection of the leg and required hospitalization for 3 days under a transfusion of antibiotics.nI say thank you to Mr. Roy to whom I hasten to express all my gratitude; and although he told me that he had only done his job, let us recognize that some people perform it in an exceptional manner worthy of mention.
Make an appointment by phone or internet! What do you do if you work blood test hours... or you have a job that changes schedule during covid! It really is hard! We're not all retirees or on social assistance! They kicked me out, well the blood test will pass! I was there since 5:30 am!
