Story

Located in the Promontory Hillside Plaza (beside the liquor store) Close to Home opened in June of 2008 as the brainchild of Promontory residents Rob and Shannon Schaan. The proven business model they brought from their previous operations was to provide quality Grocery and Deli products to meet the needs of the residents of Promontory in a convenient location, close to home, so that Promontory residents can save time. Using their vast experience and knowledge of the grocery industry, the Schaan's filled the store with a wide variety of quality competitively priced products.

In March 2014 the Schaan's retired and sold the business to Promontory residents Tim and Sophie Drake who will be continuing the same strategy of offering quality, selection and competitive pricing, all in a customer friendly atmosphere.

convenient family care products; not to mention all of the candy and treats you can think of, for the kid in all of us.
