I had a "family doctor" here for over a year. Never saw him once. He was always unavailable, or not available for weeks/months. Today, I had a minor emergency, and called the clinic to make an appointment ASAP. The receptionist told me that my doctor was unavailable for at least another month. When I told the receptionist that no other clinics would see me because I already had a family doctor, she told me very rudely that she couldn't help me. I asked her who I should call, and she again said she couldn't help me, and couldn't book any "emergency appointments" for three days. I told her I needed to be seen sooner than that, and she told me to calm down and find an appointment elsewhere. The receptionist's EXCEPTIONAL rudeness/lack of willingness to help in any way, combined with the inability to even access my family doctor at all ultimately led to me calling RAMQ this morning and removing him as my family doctor. I am now, again, on the waitlist for a new family doctor. And although it could take up to 3 years for me to get a new one, I am SOOOOO RELIEVED that I never have to deal with this clinic again.
Great staff, however it is impossible to get in touch for any information or follow-ups. The line is always busy, and there's no other way to contact them unless you need to make an appointment. I needed a prescription for a vaccine that they never sent me and wound up having to pay a cancellation fee for my appointment after trying to get in touch with anyone for several days.
Ill start by saying Dre St-Amant is an incredible Doctor and listens to you, she's GREAT! That being said the amount of constant and continuous attitude the reception/people who make appointments, give you is COMPLETELY unacceptable and disgusting. I was hung up on for asking questions, being told I'm taking up their phone line... I have never in my life dreaded walking into my family DR like I have at Centre medical 3 LACS... Something needs to done but as usual will fall on someone who simply doesn't care about the complaint
Wrong opening hours online. Elevator won’t go to the 3rd floor when they’re closed but you only understand that once you’ve carried your sick baby in a stroller up 3 flights of stairs and see UP THERE a sign that says they are now closing at 2pm on weekends. Maybe put a sign in the elevator?
With all negative reviews about how RUDE the receptionist is for Dr. Gannon you would think she'd be fired. But not here, seems it's more of a quality they desire. We have had multiple rude incidents with this insufferable human. Today went like this Me: Hi I just got out of the hospital where I had to call an ambulance to because I thought I was having a heart attack. It wasn't a heart attack but they said I needed to make an appointment with my family doctor right away to figure out what's wrong Her: I see you canceled your appointment in March. So it's going to be 3 months. Me: sorry, this is a pretty big deal. Her: it's vacation season, nothing I can do. So now I guess I get to hopefully not die since they have no time for a serious heart issue. The receptionist is one of the rudest, worst people I have encountered in an already horrible medical system.
The only advantage of this clinic is that if you have a family doctor there you get a chance to see a doctor on duty for minor emergencies within a day or two. Nothing more than that. I have a family doctor at this clinic for my entire family, we get nothing from her. I was told once that she had no time today for all my symptoms which hurt my feeling. Every time I go to see her, I walk out of her office feeling horrible. My husband felt the same from her, so he goes to a private clinic now. Not all doctors are like her though. I was seen twice by Dre. Pomerleau while she was on duty for daily emergencies, I felt that she was really caring for her patients and I also appreciated that she called me back to follow up and to give me further advises. I wished that she was our family doctor.
We were given the number for this clinic through the Covid information line as my daughter's pediatrician was unable to see her due to a fever she'd had 48 hours previously and she was now covered in a rash. We called the number and were redirected to a website. We managed to get an appointment through there. When the receptionist called to confirm I explained that she'd had a fever but no other covid symptoms and it had been over 48 hours since the fever broke. We had also confirmed with Telehealth that my daughter was not exhibiting symptoms of covid Including the fever and did not need to be tested. The receptionist affirmed that this was fine as long as she had no other covid symptoms and we were consulting specifically about the rash. I made sure to ask twice. Today at the appointment the doctor outright refused to see my daughter, completely against what the receptionist had reassured would be fine the day before. The doctor spoke very little English and had to use one of the receptionists to interpret.. So english-only speakers be forewarned. We were offered an appointment at the CDE, but now I'm faced with letting my toddler go without medical care or taking her, even with zero symptoms of covid, into a facility full of people that do. The best part? A woman waiting in the lobby for her appointment ahead of us was coughing horribly but was seen regardless. We won't be returning.
Great service! Took an appointment from RSVQ for a minor urgency/sans-"rendez-vous" appointment w/o a family doctor at this clinic. Reception was quick and painless. The appointment started on-time; the nurse and the doctor were great and they took the time to answer all my questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this clinic. Thanks!
Great clinical staff and personnel who follow up prompty to appointment requests despite the appointment management system they're required to use, that isn't the best from a usability standpoint. Full service clinic. Thank you for your attentive service
This 5 star is merited for Doctor Charland! I am so lucky to have met him. Having no Family Doctor and being on CSST is really hard to find one Doctor that would be willing to follow-up in order to see the progress with my health...But he did! I was so desperate that I didn't even care driving an hour/an hour and a half every time to that clinic from my home, rather than always seeing different Doctors booking via rvsq & starting over my accident story from the date of the event & the doctor will not know/see my progress. That being said, I am very grateful Dr. CHARLAND accepted to keep on following-up my case. Also, he always treats his clients with respect, empathetic & acknowledges what the Client is saying.
