Taking the CARE out of Health Care. My experience in the past is that the doctors at this clinic, especially Dr Fujioka, have been extremely helpful and follow up. I had also seen Dr. Adrian Macek. They took a personal interest in my issues. Sadly, the government has decided to take another step in taking the CARE out of medical care. Now we must enter a corral like cattle by calling a toll-free number to be sent to whatever doctor pops up on their screen. Gone is the personal care and intimate knowledge of a patient's issues. Sure, any doctor can look at a screen and see your cold hard history. The government decision-makers don't get it. Apparently neither does the bureaucratic front office staff at Clinique De Medicine Familiale who seemingly have no interest actual medical CARE versus black and white rules which they will gleefully shout at you. I wonder if one of their own was ill, would they simply treat them like a number. Sad. Quebec drove the doctors away and now the bureaucrats are attempting to fix the problem they themselves created. It's a sad time for doctors and their patients.
Intelligent doctors, only have experienced positive help.
sent in circles on the phone. Phone lines do not work and end the call.
Been going to see Dre.Bourbeau for almost 25 years. I've always been treated with respect and dignity.
Medical secretaries, lack of professionalism and tact.nnNo appointment available for follow-upnnThey told me: I don't know what we're going to do with you.nAnd she added: well I'm going to have to bother the doctor about that.nnGood way to make the patient feel uncomfortable.nnInstead of focusing on solutions and asking professional questions without displaying the depth of your personal thoughts.
