Free! Love it! Always find a spot. Great for family picnics. I really appreciate the close proximity to park tables if you are setting up. Great starting spot for hikes. The hatchery is short hill down the stairs...or just bring visitors to enjoy the vistas! Have been using this parking lot mostly during a week maybe 2x year? . Not sure how busy can it get on weekends. Couple times I saw wedding party here...

Nice 5k hike, with nice trails, good mix of up and down and bridges too. Be sure to stop in at the salmon hatchery.
FREE parking and there are many space! nIf you go to the stairs at the South of the parking, you will have nice A/C like natural cool air.
Just go for a walk on the trails next to the dam is amazing!
