We are a wholesale nursery grower offering a wide selection of plant material, landscape supplies and professional design service to the landscape trade.

Story

Clearview Nursery Ltd has been growing and selling trees from its land base near Stayner, ON in the Georgian Triangle since 1996. We specialize in growing ornamental nursery stock, both evergreen and deciduous. Our goal is to provide trees to the local market that have been grown here, in our distinctive climate, and that can well withstand local weather conditions. We want our wholesale customers to be able to recommend our nursery stock to their clients with confidence.


In addition to our ‘wire basket’ material, we also carry a full line of shrubs and perennials to suit most needs. If we don’t have what you want in stock, we can almost certainly get it for you, offering you the convenience of plant material on your doorstep in addition to competitive pricing thanks to our considerable buying power.


The same thing applies to our nursery supplies and hardscape materials. For those customers who may grow and dig their own trees, we offer a full line of wire baskets, burlap liners and twines. We can supply and truck all types of aggregates and stone products. We buy directly from the Wiarton quarries and can custom order on your behalf. Soils and mulches are stockpiled onsite at our yard, available for delivery and/or pick up. For your convenience we also wholesale a number of auxiliary products including grass seed, fertilizers, staking materials, rake and shovel handles and work gloves.


Kevin and Gail Elwood are owner operators who are seriously invested in the growth and success of the nursery. We have a core group of people working at the nursery year round and they are highly qualified in horticulture, landscape design, forestry and sales and marketing. These staff members are supported by a group of seasonal workers with a combined experience in excess of 40 years in maintaining in-field stock which enables us to provide you with well grown, well pruned and maintained trees. We are constantly updating our skills to keep pace with industry advancements and the changes and demands of the market.


Clearview Nursery Ltd is an active member of Landscape Ontario (Georgian Lakelands Chapter), and the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association.
