I just received a reaction from the owner of Cleaning4u from my 1star rating review I just posted. Here it is: Hey David, Thank you for your honest review, we appreciate the feedback. We do have a policy that is written down in our website, that state if you are not satisficed with the service, we will be sending back another team to do a touch up of what was missing. We also have an state in our confirmation email to do the walkthrough with the crew before and after the service is done in which you can mentioned to the team if something is missing, cleaners are human not robots. We have many solutions to give our customers the best service, but if the customer did not let us know we can not solve or fix anything. Writing a bad review wont solve anything and it is kind of unfair as we did not know this. Thank you Cleaning4u team I have been is sales and service for over 40 years with large companies. The owners reaction from my review was defensive, not taking ownership at all. The owner never read my review in its entirety. I posted a review- fair or unfair you may call it, it’s a review. The review is not to hurt your company but my own experience and I put a lot of thought into it wether I should or not. Read my review again in case you missed something. Reviews or reviews, fair or unfair, that’s why there is a rating of 1 to 5. There are 100’s of cleaning companies and services offered, I suggest be more proactive than react.
[update] I have to edit my review to one-star because below owner’s reply is not telling the truth and is trying to cover up their mistake. 1. I have email communication proof that it was communicated at max 2.5 hr. Not sure where the 3hr come from. 2. They did not make the effort to call me informing the delay of the cleaners, I had to call them myself and found out the “surprise” **** We have a one bedroom apartment and we booked for move-out cleaning services. The overall experience is quite disappointing! ! Friends came to look after and he asked us if we cleaned the place ourselves or did we actually hired a professional cleaners… that tells you the level of cleanliness. Cleanliness: The place appears cleaned. But when we look carefully, spider webs/ dust on the ceiling not cleaned/ touched at all, bits and scraps at some corners or under heater not cleaned, dusty blinds, dust around ceiling fan exhaust not cleaned. Communication: Email communication prior to the service was good. The owner/ manager is easy to communicate with. However, on the cleaning day, communication with the 3 cleaners was not easy. It appears there’s mis-communication within their team as they kept saying they are told not supposed to clean the windows blinds as those are fragile, whereas I was written with confirmation that blinds cleaning are included. Punctuality: CLEANERS WERE LATE FOR 17 MINUTES!! That was a big no-no to me. I had an 8am cleaning appointment because they said 8am was the only time left. I arrived the empty apartment the night before and slept on floor just so to make sure I’m there 8am sharp when cleaners come. 8:05 am they were not here. I phoned the company and the person saying he will contact that cleaning team as they should have be there. 8:17 am three young cleaners arrived, with no explanation upfront about why they’re late. I was curious so I asked. One person said, it’s mis- communication by the boss that they are told it’s 8am arrive at the cleaning company so they were sitting there waiting. And they didn’t know it should have be 8am arriving at client’s place. This Does not make sense to me!! Oh, and they showed up with a broken vacuum…! And they had first telling they can’t vacuum as all my electrical outlets were not working. I literally was just charging my phone the night before so I was like, what the hell..? I took out the cord and show them phone is charging so the outlets have power. It’s their vacuum having issue. After explaining the issue/ mistake experienced, the owner/manager was kind and decent to deduct 15min cleaning bill time, in which I believe he/ she understood the mistakes and recognize the inconvenience. So that give them another star.
Excellent service from start to finish for a move out clean. I called with less than a week's notice and they were able to accommodate. I called again the day before to add a second stove in my new place in the same building onto the job. Previous tenant had not cleaned the rust underneath the top. They did a fantastic job of both, and I passed my inspection with flying colours!
I called to inquire about their services and I found their price to be better compared to other companies I called.The 3 ladies that worked on our home were very nice and did their job well. Although there were small areas that were missed with dusting, overall I am very satisfied with their service and will use them again. Definitely will recommend to others! Thank you Cleaning4U
