Cleaners Sturgeon Park Plaza

Let me start this off by saying that I've used this dry cleaners many times before and I have never had any problems with them ever. However, this is a big enough problem that it needs to be addressed. I brought my duvet in to be dry cleaned and have 2 small rips stitched on Friday September 2. They told me it was going to be ready by Wednesday September 7, which was fine because we were going camping for the weekend and wouldnt need it. I go on the Wednesday to pick it up and they tell me it's not here because one of the employees took it off the property to stitch the two small rips weird, but fine. The gentleman took my information and told me he would call me when it was ready- I assumed it would be ready the following day Thursday, or even Friday. The weekend passed and I finally received two calls on the Tuesday the 13th, was not left a voice message either time and so I just assumed it was ready and went there - almost a full week after the original promise date, first issue. The supposed stitching job done on the two small rips was actually a cover job which I believe was completely unnecessary- second issue, but one I can slightly overlook as at least the rips wouldn't catch again and get bigger. We slept with it the 13th and it was great. Then I was making the bed tonight the 14th and as I was straightening out the bottom of the blanket where the cover job was done, I ran my hand along the seam of the blanket and the edging has completely come apart from the blanket. It looks like the stitched were ripped and never sewn back together or like they completely fell apart because of the cover put over the two small rips. I am very disappointed in the service that I was provided this time around. I have never been so let down by this company in the many years I have used them. I will be calling them tomorrow and getting a refund for my service and now I'll have to look in to getting the blanket fixed elsewhere.

He patiently listened to my questions and passionately explained how things are done. Very professional and experienced. Didn’t make me feel like a fool with all my curiosity nor my sentimental attachment to my old jackets. I was not treated this way with other dry cleaners. I have a chair cushion that really needed a good cleaning my black cat slept on it constantly. I took it in on May 2 and waited and waited... I called 4 times looking for my cushion they had to send it out to another dry cleaning place they owned. Was it lost? They never called me to say what was going on with it. I finally went it to inquire about it and they finally called the other office and was told it was coming in on Monday. I picked it up today Tues. which was 4 weeks after I dropped it off. I am not thrilled at the job they did and asked for a discount for the wait and aggravation and they said no. Also, the one owner talked down to me and was disrespectful. Not nice. I have dealt with them before and was happy then. Not now.

Brought my husband's blazer in to be dry cleaned and it is absolutely ruined. Snags and pulled threads everywhere. It looks like it was used as a rag. It's completely unwearable and probably unfixable. Horribly disappointed, I will not be going back and I will certainly not recommend this establishment to anyone.

If I could give this business a zero rating i absolutely would. After many years of happily bringing my dry cleaning to Sturgeon “Professional” dry cleaning, they have lost my business. They shrunk a dress I wore once. The owner told me sometimes they follow the washing directions instead of actually dry cleaning them.... to which I responded that I pay for dry cleaning, not machine washing. I allowed them to try and stretch the dress out twice, giving them the benefit of the doubt. When I had to bring a jacket in today, which they also shrunk... their attitudes changed. She told me that I must have taken these things elsewhere to get cleaned because she can tell and am now just trying to get money out of them. She told me she absolutely would NOT be covering the price or even a portion of the price of these items because she is not the one who shrunk them.. that I was lying. That they have never once had a complaint in 25 years. Bottom line... they have changed something in their cleaning process, I’ve never had a problem until recently, but I refuse to have good clothes ruined by unprofessional people trying to save a buck. If you like your clothes.... find a new dry cleaner fast!

I have been a loyal customer for almost 15 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else! AJ and Almas always try to accommodate me no matter how busy they are, they really do care about their customers and their belongings. I've had everything from a simple shirt to a wedding dress cleaned and preserved, everything is perfect! I would recommend them to absolutely everyone, you won't be disappointed...EVER!

I called before bringing my wedding dress in to get a quote and they told me if there is no beading it would be $100. They were able to get the majority of the stain out of my wedding dress. But when I called to ask if it was done they rudely told me they had already called me to pick it up when I had never recieved a call. When I went to pick it up I had $100 cash in hand to pay for my dress and she rung it in at $245. I called them out about quoting me $100 and she told me I'm already getting a great deal which was told to someone else who wrote a review. I was so upset they lied to me, I didnt have the money so I left. Another gentleman came in and talked to who I assume is the own, I am not sure what was said but he told me all was good and to go get my dress. I dont know who this man was but thank you for your kindness and generosity of whatever you said or did! I ended up only paying $100 thanks to him. He seemed to be a regular and his kindness did not go unnoticed. Thank you to whomever this kind man was! Giving 1 stars for removal of stain, but do not feel they handled themselves kindly or professionally.
