It’s a good company to get your PR status. There not bad rate as for Nova Scotia. 95% of weekends home. But seniority on first place in this company, and if you new there, be ready have worst trips than old drivers or stay home week or two when your truck on the service in Penske they using Penske’s trucks. But now they ubdated most of trucks to brand new, and it is big plus for them before this summer most trucks had 700-800k. + km with bad maintenance. Trailers from time to time have some surprises for drivers too but it is not critical. I spent in Classic Freight 9 months but I can’t tell that it was best experience in my career…
This is just my opinion for me they're by far the worse company I ever worked for 20 years of driving I never seen anything like it their safety department has no clue what a truck even looks like I could tell the first day of orientation that Pat took her information out of a book that she had no 2 clues what she was talking about twice I happened to be in violation on my log book my fault can't blame no one but myself for that but safety Pat called right away and demanded I stopped right where I was on the side of the road once for 36 hours where it was not safe I ignored her of course she didn't like that I went where it was safe and the second time I was 2 min from a truck stop didn't even wait to see if I was pulling over stupid stuff like that. Another time I got in late cant bring the truck home so I parked the only place I could cause I live 3 hours away I couldn't take the truck home I texted dispatch I said the truck will have to be moved if someone wants the trailer i was parked in front of they had a key the next day he text and said yea they want you to come move the truck 3 hours one way in a flash freeze warning weather warning cause they didn't want to call the guy in from the office that had the key that was the last straw they got their key and come 5 o'clock Friday good luck getting a hold of a dispatch till Monday morning my dispatch was awesome and I can't blame him for turning his phone off on weekends everyone needs a break but there should be dispatchers 24/7 the rest in the office can't say anything bad they were awesome I say it's a great place to get your experience and go somewhere else
Truck number P210, driver doesn’t know how to drive truck, did argue with with. Zero start to driver.
They are big layers first day they give you promise 2nd day they changed immediatelynThey are playing with your life. Worse company ever
