Absolutely love this park! 5 week old lion is precious and so affectionate. People complaining about exploitative use of lion is absurd. Breeding is necessary to ensure the endangered species. Animals are loved and cared for. The kids love the double slide too
Loved our experience here with our granddaughters. The girls loved feeding the lemurs a treat. Also the oldest who is five loved feeding the giraffe. The giraffe care taker was an awesome guy who was great to talk to and genuinely cared about what he was doing. The wading in the creek was also great. The young guy looking after that was great with the kids and had a great sense of humour considering he was run off his feet between the slide and trips to the creek. The food to feed the animals was so reasonable and the kids loved that so much. The down side was the staff looking after waterpark and rides spent whole time on cell phones. This is your job your cell phone has no place here. Also should have a stamp or something to say you have paid. We just walked in till we realized where to show our ticket purchase on phone but no one would have known different. We will be back. It was great!
Feeding the lemurs and the baby goats was great. Most of the staff were friendly the lady running the rides shut them down 5 minutes early. For the price of admission I excepted more animals. There are other zoos in the neighbourhood that have the same animals for half the price of admission.
This place is beautiful, the staff is wonderful and the animals are loved! I adore taking my children here and hope this place will be around for another 98+ years! Do not listen to the false accusations about this place, if there was something bad going on here this place would have closed down decades ago! This is just another target by the ever present peta extremists. Don't fall for their biased lies, go see it for yourself and make up your own mind. Thank you for helping to preserve lions and educate the public about them while providing us with amazing experiences, not all of us are blind to the good that you do.
Haven’t been yet since the Zoo closed, but will this summer. Please remember, moving animals takes time and money. If anyone feels that this should not be a zoo, please feel free to adopt an animal and pay for its daily needs, medical needs and cost to move it and do the foot work to find it a new home, I’m sure it would be greatly appreciated. If the zoo had no funds, all the animals would die of neglect and starvation because even putting an animal down cost money.
A small place but enough to keep kids busy for hours. Goats are roaming around and kids can pet them. You'll have a chance to feed giraffes. You can get real up close to animals. They also have a waterpark which is a bonus.
This place is great. Everything and all the animals are taken care of. It's much different than what the zoo was and I think the haters should let it go. This is not a zoo. Just because the zoo had "allegations" of cruelty doesn't mean that this is the same.
Did the lion cub encounter and it was fantastic. Had a great time! Its too bad that animals have to go after labour day, its a great place for kids and a lot cheaper on the pocket book for parents!
This zoo steals helpless baby animals from their mothers to use them as props for pictures! I commented on their Facebook post about it and they blocked me immediately. Please DON'T support this facility or any place that profits off of animals.
Have not been yet but wanted to say I can't wait to go. Sounds like a great day for kids and NO Toronto Traffic! We need more stuff closer to home and this Family Adventure Park is a great addition!
