The people who work for Idaho Parks & Recreation are passionate about their job and their enthusiasm is contagious. There is a cute gift shop within the Visitor's Center where you can buy t-shirts and hats with City of Rocks embroidered logo.
Please take the opportunity to watch the 10 minute video explaining the origins of the City of Rocks and the majestic must-see sights in the park.

Unique part of South Central Idaho, the City of Rocks National Monument is a beautiful place to glance at Idaho's geologic past. A rock climbers paradise and a hikers dream! There is RV camping within the Monument for campers wanting to stay and relax for a while. Additionally, there remains remnants of trails used by our pioneer ancestors on their way to Oregon and California. Come and take a look and a few pictures!

We found it to be very interesting. Would like to take the RV and spend a few days there sometime. But definitely worth a day trip
