The Reuse Centre accepts various items from Edmonton residents free of charge and makes them available to organizations and individuals for reuse.
The City of Edmonton Reuse Centre Facebook Page would like to welcome you to our Facebook Page. The purpose of this page is to present information on the Reuse Centre, its operations and volunteer programs along with other reuse initiatives, stories and crafting ideas.
Volunteers are essential to the work of the City of Edmonton Reuse Centre and contribute in a variety of ways. We offer a fun work environment, flexible shifts and a great recognition program!
We encourage you to submit your comments, reuse ideas and volunteer stories to our page, but please note this is a monitored and moderated page.
The Centre has three main goals:
To promote the idea and benefits of reuse
To provide affordable items to organizations and individuals
To divert waste from landfill
The Reuse Centre accepts a variety of items such as arts and crafts supplies, office and school supplies, paper and plastic products and much more. Please note that all items must be clean and in good condition. Items may be dropped off at the West door during hours of operation only.
The Reuse Centre does not accept furniture, clothing, electronics, appliances or construction materials. Many charities accept these items; please take them to the charity directly. For a listing of charities that accept these items visit the Reuse & Recycling Directory at www.edmonton.ca/reusedirectory or call 311.
