Walked in with my husband tonight who needed stitches on his scalp. The receptionist was very friendly and helped us immediately. Kim took in my husband to check his wound, she was extremely helpful and so thankful that she was able to get the Dr to check him out right away. The Dr was also fantastic, we were in and out within an hour! The clinic is extremely busy and everyone needs to appreciate how hard they work to help their patients. Overall a great experience!

This clinic requires more organization, and concentration on patient-centered, hands-on care. Listening is not a strong-point of the Physicians here, and appointments are rushed. The time of the patients is not valued and Physicians are habitually late for appointments. There are a lot of gaps here, I am not sure how moving to a larger clinic is going to improve things. My advise: 1) get your clinic organized on a smaller-scale first 2) listen to your patients, use validation techniques 3) ask questions to delve into patient concerns; communication requires a dialogue not a monologue 4) do thorough hands-on assessments 5) be on time for appointments, as your patients' time is just as valuable as yours. Bottom line: friendly staff does not equal good medical care. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone looking for consistent, holistic, patient-centered medical care.

My doctor is the worst. Refused to give me a referral to an endocrinologist for almost two years because she “felt she could manage my thyroid issues” she could not. Each few months when I retested it got progressively worse and I became more and more ill. She only gave me a referral after over a year of begging after I told her I wanted to switch off synthroid to natural thyroid which she didn’t “feel comfortable” prescribing. In my opinion if she didn’t feel comfortable prescribing all the available thyroid medicines at her disposal as a doctor practicing family medicine from day one then she’s unqualified to ever treat me to begin with and should have referred me to a specialist over a year ago. To summarize this review in one word all I can say is: NEGLIGENT. Update: May 29, 2018 Can’t figure out how to reply so I’m editing my post. My argument isn’t that Hughes didn’t refer me for a second opinion but it took months and months of begging where my health followed a trajectory of deterioration. Again, I didn’t ask her about medications that aren’t unsafe or unapproved by health Canada. Evethying I asked to explored is legally for sale at Canadian pharmacies.

I was on my way to an appointment and yes I was running late due to traffic and weather issues. I had a family member call them as I was driving to advise the clinic of my late arrival. I get a call 15 minutes later advising they are cancelling my appointment which I badly needed and I also lost money because I had to leave work early to tend to an appointment. I was really hoping this new clinic would have been good but instead I don't have the medical attention I need and I am out $ from having to leave work early. What a disappointment Citrus Medical and Dr Khan.

I have been to this clinic several times as both a regular patient of Dr Hughes and to see a walk-in doctor. The hours are great and the staff is always friendly and efficient. The wait times are never long and there is free parking nearby. Dr Hughes is a caring and thorough doctor. I would recommend her and this clinic to anyone!
