Citrea Restaurant and Bar is located on the first floor of Chenango Place, on the riverwalk overlooking the Chenango River in downtown Binghamton, NY. The grand opening is tentatively scheduled for February, 2015.
Citrea is a Mediterranean inspired restaurant featuring a woodfire pizza oven, small plates, and a full bar. We will offer exciting brunch options on Saturdays and Sundays, including bottomless mimosas.
Owners Vicky Alt and Jimmy Valdez are a husband and wife team, with years of experience working with top culinary talent in Washington DC. Vicky, a Binghamton native, is excited to be back in her hometown and to be a part of the thriving downtown Binghamton community. Co-owner, Allen Alt, is a long-time Binghamton resident and physician, who is looking forward to his upcoming retirement and starting this next chapter as a restauranteur.
