Worst College in Canada, Avoid at all Costs.nnMy experience at Portage College, CIOT has been nothing short of a nightmare. They seem to have no regard for students' time or well-being. The facilities are in deplorable condition. The classrooms are outdated, the technology barely functions. Maintenance requests are ignored for weeks. Internet Connectivity is a Joke. The quality of education is equally abysmal. The Homework applications or websites are outdated, failing to attempt Quizzes some times. The college's administration is unresponsive and unhelpful. Financial aid is a mess, with constant errors and delays that leave students scrambling. Refund Processes for Tuition Fees takes months to be Completed. When issues arise, the staff is often providing no real solutions. In short, Portage College is a disaster. If you value your education, mental health, and overall well-being, avoid this place at all costs. It's not worth the time, money, or stress. Look elsewhere for a college experience that will actually enrich your life and prepare you for the future.
Ravneet kaur supported me alot for my assignments , explained each and everything again no matter how many times i asked for it . She was quite cooperative and helpful during the lectures as well , thank you for being such a good instructor.
We have encountered several issues with the instructor’s conduct that have caused significant concern and discomfort among the students. Over the past few weeks, it has become evident that Hasam who is our Macroeconomics instructor has been engaging in behavior that is both inappropriate and unprofessional. Specifically, the instructor has used inappropriate language in class and has inappropriately interfered in students’ personal lives. This behavior has created an environment that many students find embarrassing and distressing. As a result, majority of students in the class feel that this situation is unacceptable and are deeply dissatisfied with the current teaching environment. We believe that these issues are hindering our ability to focus on our studies and negatively impacting our overall learning experience.
Please do not waste your time… you can not trust management…they misguide you in offer letter and then provide you with a surprise to do some kind of practicum which they does not write on offer letter and some of their employees said that you can officially take legal action on portage college…. I personally do not recommend to not take admission in CIOT calgary they gonna misguide you and waste your time and your future as well….the worst college in whole WORLD…your classes will be from 9am to 8pm and elevators will not work after 6pmsorry to say but this is true……so guys,please do not take admission in CIOT calgary ever…
