We like the diverse options for viewing: Real3D, D-Box, HFR, Ultra AVX for vibrant experience and regular if we want to focus on the story itself. Food and drinks are no exceptional but th chill dog from Outtake may be a perk for some folks.
This is my most frequently visited movie theatre. They have 12 screens, including one AVX style which is the best experience in my opinion. There's tons of parking with nearby restaurants, a mini arcade, some seating, and a long counter with plenty of stations to grab snacks or tickets from upon arrival. The staff are friendly and helpful, the warm pretzels are pretty good, and the theatre is pretty clean. Would definitely recommend this location as a great option.
Waited in line for concessions but after 20 minutes had to leave empty-handed as movie was starting. Saw Black Panther movie in 3-D and it was so dark that things surrounding the characters were often hard to distinguish. And once again the bathroom was a mess!
Bought tickets for a movie that started at 630. Sat down at 620, there were straight 20 minutes of ads for burger shops, banks and scene cards until 640 when trailers started. Now there’s still trailers happening and the movie was supposed to start 20 minutes ago. Stop trying to sell me products. I came here to see a movie. Place was clean I guess.
Was a quiet night on Friday. No wait at concessions. Movie we picked had lots of available seating. That bit of flex in the chair to lean back is awesome.
Staff did the best they could to control a bunch of rowdy teenagers spoiling the experience for everyone. Unfortunately, they are a small number because Cineplex has cut back so much
The Cineplex at Dartmouth Crossing is great, always very clean and well staffed. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and the theatres themselves are comfortable as well as having seats that don't make you feel cramped up. All in all, a very pleasant movie-going experience.
Great theatre, exceptional seating and 12 screens in the location. Unfortunately, if you aren't a mom and pop movie goer and don't enjoy the nightmare that is Marvel "cinema", there isn't much to offer. The location does not show films beyond a 14A rating, meaning you get all the mainstream schlock and must travel to Bayers Lake for the horror genre and films geared towards adult audiences no I don't mean THAT kind of adult.
We went to see Top Gun and the theater was packed. Only one of the popcorn machines was working and the wait for concessions was long but I mostly felt terrible for the staff. I talked to the manager who said that one machine was broken and one was down for cleaning. Machines shouldn't be cleaned on Saturday night at 7pm at Rush Hour.
despite it being a really small theatre it’s in pretty good condition and very clean. The digital movie poster screens in front of each auditorium are very nice and I wish the theatre in halifax had those. This theatre would be 5 stars if only it had a IMAX theatre
