Cinéma StarCité Montréal

First time visiting Cinema Starcite and it was not the greatest experience. Partners drink holder was broken so she had to put her drink on the ground for the entire movie. The large popcorn felt like a medium... I guess inflation hit hard especially for the price they charge. We both ordered two large Coke Zero's and when we got to our seats we realized they had been warm and flat... They exchanged it for a new one.nnWarning, if you go to a evening show around 730-745, you won't be getting a free soft drink and or popcorn refill if you buy a large because by the time you walk out of a movie, they are closing. I got within a few feet and without saying a word, the teenage employee said we are closing with an aggressive attitude.nnDon't think I'll be heading back to that theater. Guzzo may have closed down but at least my experience was always better there.

The seats are old and uncomfortable. Making the whole movie theaters experience pointless. Why pay to sit on a grimy piece of rock for 2 hours. The whole place looks worn out. And the movie was supposed to start at 8:30 and by 9:00 there was still commercials playing…

The place is dystopian, abandonned. Machines are broken, chairs are ripped to pieces, the people going there are super ghetto. It was really disgusting. 10 years ago this place used to be amazing, but now it's just a trash yard.

The screen is way too dark for any movie. Their projectors probably need to be upgraded or cleaned. I would never want to watch a movie here again because of how dark the movies look. Also, parking is 25$ which is insane

Before you enter, there are birds droppings literally everywhere. So, be careful with that. Next, it seems a little abandoned. I know the owners don't care since an hotel will be built in a near future.
