This is the best pizza I’ve ever had. I added prosciutto on the mushroom pizza and it made it even better. The truffle fries are amazing. The service was superb and we were well taken care of. Highly recommend this place!!Recommended dishes

Great pasta and pizza at a very reasonable price. I hear it’s even cheaper during happy hour which they have every day of the week! My favourites would be the vongole and the pizza. We ordered the cauliflower appy not pictured and I think it was trying too hard to be a wing .

I love my risotto here. The manager was also our server today and we received an outstanding service by him. We were refused to chop and toss sausage in our risotto last time by kitchen, but, the manager assured us that he will make sure its done the way we want it to appreciate our visit.  We always come here for experience and has always been good, except the last time. We thought we would give this place another chance and we are glad it was amazing. We will be back for those risotto's again.

This was our 3rd visit in the past month. Food is great always. We love the calamari. We always get served by Armin. He take good care of us and always make us feel appreciated for the business. We will keep continue visiting for the great food and service and recommend all our friends and family. He also invited us to come on Valentine’s Day for a special 3 course meal. Guess what, we will see you guys soon!!

I love this place at happy hour! Great specials for very reasonable pricing. The patio is nice in the summer. The food is consistent and it's fresh. It's not a complicated menu and the focus is on simple ingredients that taste great. Service is good. If you want good Italian food this is the place :Food: 5/5

We enjoyed our lunch at CIBO today. Burger was amazing and they have great lunch menu. Our waiter Armin gave us some good suggestions and we are glad we took his recommendation. Great food and great service. We will bring more friends. Thanks for a spectacular service again.

Horrendous experience please take your business to any other Cibos location or the lovely Italian market next door. They failed to follow through with their websites offerings and then claim other offers in store. They did not even attempt to keep our business. For example at other places where this has happened they will comply with the listed offer and make it aware that it will be a one time thing as they are changing over. Their by keeping the business and maintaining the relationship with the customer. Bad service and worse management it seems. Again please avoid at all costs.

I don’t post reviews, but after tonight I felt it was necessary. Tonight was awful. Drinks, food, service, cleanliness… All bad. $175 and we will never be back. Cibo previously Scopa has been a great local Italian restaurant for years, but it has run its course. New management has run it into the ground. Go elsewhere.  UPDATE post “Owner” Comments: Now I’m really wasting my time. This is how bad the meal was that I’m committed to this.  Yes. We had an old gift card from before the pandemic that we hadn’t used. My family used to purchase Scopa gift cards for each other for Christmas & Birthdays. Obviously we will not be continuing that with Cibo :  Sat down at the wobbliest table. Waited almost 15min to get our drinks taken and it wasn’t very busy. Got an overly sweet old fashioned and white wine. Brought water in dirty glasses. No problem though, you don’t really need the water when you order drinks! We don’t like to complain and we love this place PLUS we’re on a date night away from the two kids so everything is great.  Ordered 3 appies - Garlic Prawns, Mussels, Calamari. Dinner - Osso Bucco & Seafood pasta.  Appies come out AND “sorry but the entire meal is ready now. The kitchen made it all”. “What? Why would they do that? We ordered 3 appetizers. It’s going to take a while to eat.” “We’ll leave it under the heat lamp until you’re ready”. “Uhhhh - okay…” this is ridiculous but we’re still on a date so whatever at least we have food and time away  Appetizers Mussels are great. Good sauce. Garlic Prawns - not worth it at all. 4 or 6 on a large piece of toast. Calamari - probably the worst we’ve ever had. Basically 50% fried onions. I can only assume to trick you into thinking you’re getting more. Now we’re starting to grumble back and forth - disappointed with the meal but “at least we have a gift card”  Meals 20-25min after appies we get our mush from the heat lamps. The risotto the Osso Bucco was served over is now a grey congealed mass though warm!!. The pasta is fine, but the seafood has clearly been blasted with a heat lamp for a healthy period. “God this place is awful.”  Go to pay. Manager - “that gift card is from the previous ownership - I’m sorry I wish there is something we could do”. They don’t offer anything. 5%? The drink? “I wish there is something we can do….” Lol me too mister manager. Thanks for the fake sympathy though!  FINAL RATING  Service: -10/5  Drinks: 3/5 - old fashioned bad. - BUT you’re right smart guy, wine good : - can’t screw up the wine cause that’s not something you have control of unlike your restaurant…  Appetizers: 2/5 - Mussels good! The rest awful.  Meal: 1/5 - maybe it could have been good? Instead overcooked, congealed, mush :  Overall: who cares? It’s bad.  We won’t be back & I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. There are tons of fabulous restaurants in Calgary. This is not one.

This place is a must-try for any Italian food lovers in Calgary. You come to this place to appreciate the culinary art. The pizza is great, the seafood is to die for, and the dessert is heavenly! The chefs here obviously feel passionate about their dishes. I've eaten here a couple of times and loved it every single time!
