This branch is horrible for service. I’m totally on the side of the lady that tore a strip out of one of the employees just now - it’s 10:30 in the morning - never have a business service till, six people in line, the lady in front has been waiting for 22 minutes and there’s 1 teller open. There is a handful of other employees in the bank but let me guess “that’s not their role “ Absolutely terrible. I can’t stand in line for 20 minutes I have to get back to the office to answer phones and respond to our customers because that’s the forefront of our company. The fees are absolutely outrageous and unjustified when you need to stand in line for 20+ minutes on a good day while you wait on one bank teller Be better CIBC
OMG - avoid this location like the plague. They have taken my money wire transfer lost it and have not reimbursed me. STAY AWAY, MOVE YOUR ACCOUNTS! The other bank asks for a MT103 to trace the payment, CIBC won't even help with that. See following response form them. The stupid thing is, I had to give them all the confidential information they are hiding. Maybe they have something to hide.... "As per CIBC policy we don’t share copy of the MT103 or any copy of SWIFT message to any external party or client as it is proprietary to CIBC and contains confidential information that cannot be shared."
I don’t know if I can direct this to the branch itself or CIBC itself… but one teller at all times and limits for cash withdrawals really are too much to bank with this company. Record profits and record cuts to in-person banking.
I've been struggling to get in contact with someone about my accounts for about a year now. I leave multiple phone calls and the voice mail always says they will get back to you before the end of the day. I wait days and still no response. E-mails go unanswered, often with 'Sorry we can't help, you need to come into the branch' when I can't due to Covid-19. My AMAZING and perfect old banker Larissa was promoted, and I'm so happy for her--but god do I miss her help. She always got back to me in a timely matter. I've since switched to a new branch.

Darren is deadly slow. It took him 10 minutes to complete the transaction. I cancelled it and moved to another branch
Front end staff have been friendly. The problem is with staff who are to file documents for you, there is no carry through. I have been into this branch 4 times to have the power of attorney documents completed, each time I am told that they will complete it and it does not happen. So this week I have called the manager several times to have this issue taken care of and she has not called me back once. I have a terminally ill parent and have been trying to get this completed since January it is May tomorrow. Something is seriously wrong if there is this much incompetency in one place.
I am running a business in Sherwood Park, and have three bank accounts in three different bank, but CIBC bank make a exception from all of them. I would like to thank to Mr. Hardeep Singh Nanda for the services provided to me while running the business and he help me to get my loan approved. I will recommend them to all. Thanks
Left messages for a callback four times over a two week period, inquiring about a letter they sent me. Two of the calls were to the manager Miss Commisso's direct line. Explained I could not come into the branch. Not one return call was ever received. This seems like the service I get every time I or my daughter try to deal with this branch. Glad I'm moving everything I can to BMO who I always get great service from.
Been dealing with a different bank for several years now. After my husband has been with CIBC I thought I would give it a chance. Jody is phenomenal she explained to me everything I need to know. She’s gone over and beyond what a normal financial Advisor would. She’s took my financial needs seriously. Thank you Jody for helping me. I am excited to switch banks and deal with a bank that cares about me and not just the money. Thank you !
