CIBC Branch & ATM

Very bad service. Had an appointment at 10 am on a Saturday to open a saving and checking bank account with a man named Sing, had to wait until 10:35, and it turned out he did not do anything for me. Emailed him after several weeks, no reply!! Still I don't have my bank card yet !! RBC oshawa near ontario tech has a much much better service.

Only used this branch once and customers service was ok.nMy review is for CIBC as a whole.nI got mixed up with them when costco switched all their accounts to CIBC.nSince becoming their client, it is just one nightmare after another with their card.nThe worst issue is that the card always got cut off while I was in the US, even though I told them I was going there and authenticated it several times. Before they switched to CIBC, I relied on my costco card in the US for decades and never experienced a hiccup. Relying on my CIBC card turned my only 2 vacations with them into a nightmare.nI filed a claim with CIBC for repeatedly cutting off my card while in the US. It was escalated to their highest level. The investigator came up with the implausible explanation that I repeatedly entered my PIN wrong, so it was my fault. She didn't care what the real issue was, and she said if I don't like it I have to sue.nI would have liked to know what happened so I could prevent this in the future, but the investigator was combatant and stuck to her made up story.nNo professional integrity whatsoever.nBeware, never bank with CIBC outside of Canada.nAlso, never bank with CIBC period, unless no other bank will take you.

Booked an appointment with Cindy Ruckemann and she completed ignored my appointment. Said I wasn’t part of her portfolio and that she could not attend me when I had an appointment booked with her. Completely wasted my time and was ignored as a customer of more than 20 years!nnI am done with CIBC! Terrible bank that does nothing to for the client.

Very slow. Only 2 staff at the counter and 15 customer in the line. Staff is nice

dude helping me with my credit card did not know how to activate it so he had my card retained and now i have to wait to get a new one. its gonna be a month since cibc has messed up the process of me getting a new credit card. if you cant activate credit cards, speak to your supervisor or ask someone to help out instead of wasting a customers time
