Churros St-Henri

Really amazing little place hidden on a residential street. I went for the churros and they are awesome. But I fell in love with the empanadas. They are exactly like the ones I ordered for breakfast in a small village in Mexico, from a tiny family restaurant across the street from where we stayed. It's the real authentic deal.

Yeah it's okay... The empanadas was so-so... The churros were ok... The price was not too cheap either. The best part of this place was the outdoor vibe, sitting area is so no frills and the owner is very nice. You like a laid back environment this is the place. It's a good quick stop but expect a mediocre taste. Go for the experience.... I'll still go... one day.

Just had empanadas & churros for lunch... OMG the empanadas are so tasty!! They are super traditional and taste like in Mexico ! The texture and flavors are delicious. I had to bavette today, definitely will go back to taste the other flavors. Dulce de leche churros very good as well! This will be a super spot for the summer! I just went there with my girlfriend and wanted to find a snack while we were waiting for our dinner to be ready for pick-up. Owner is super friendly and a very cute place off the side of the road. Churros were nice and warm, freshly made to order and if you the dolce de leche option you will NOT be disappointed. Warm and sweet filling with a crispy, cinnamon tasting churro is a match made in heaven.

These are the best Churros in Montreal! They also have amaaaaazing empanadas freshly made! Actually everything is always freshly made everyday! You can have it with cheese, beans or beef! The empanadas are only 3$. I suggest you order 2-3 for a meal but one is enough to snack For the churros, I suggest you get the dulce de leche, they are 100% homemade and the dulce is simply amazing and also homemade!!! But they are already sweet plain! Enjoy foodie friends!

Delicious empanadas!! I ordered 6 2 cheese, two beef, two bean. They came covered in some yummy slaw and cheese, and a hot sauce on the side that wasn't too spicy. $20.70 after tax: dinner for 2 people. Friendly service and a cute take-out window that's perfect for COVID. They should post their menu on the st.henri facebook groups so more people know about this place. Highly recommend.

Great empanadas & churros! Love that they have vegetarian options & the homemade hot sauce is amazing even those that don’t like too much heat would enjoy. Will definitely order again!

Worst churros I had in my life. All dry and hard, no tender. You want to avoid this trap, you can get better churros else where.

Waited a little while, but damn their churros are well worth the wait! They have the best churros I have ever tried since being in Mexico and they're so cheap too... A must try!
