Chura Primo

It’s my first time perm hair in North America, and it’s amazingly great!! I used to do my hair in Asia but it’s not an option during pandemic. I booked my appointment about two weeks before the date. They sent me text reminder and call me one day before the appointment. The stylist did a great job and we had seamless communication. Awesome place with unbeatable price!

I needed an updo for my engagement photoshoot and it was my first time visiting a hair salon for specifically this service. With any Chura salon, especially if you’re looking for a Saturday appointment, it’s best that you book at least a month in advance. For reference, when I booked in mid-May for a mid-June Saturday appointment, there was only one time slot available. I’m so glad Hiroko did my updo. I showed her a photo of what I was looking for and, with just one look at it, she was able to replicate the updo perfectly. She was friendly and patient. The updo stayed put all day and looked terrific in our engagement photos! Chura Primo’s price is reasonable too. Thank you, Hiroko!

Nice spot for a haircut downtown! I was able to make an appointment easily online. The hairdressers are friendly and ask what you would like done. I just wanted a trim with more layers and some thinning. I got my hair washed and then got my haircut. Took just less than an hour in total.

The staff at Chura Primo are professional and attentive. Highly recommend Hiroko! She truly takes the time to ensure you leave with the hair that you envision. I love the way my haircuts grow out. She is also a go to for hair colouring - I’ve done balayage with her twice now and have loved the results!

Chura did an amazing job of my hair!! My dyed hair had grown out really badly over the past 3 months of quarantine, and the ends were really damaged from previous treatments. I waited a long time a month!! for my 4-hour cut and colour session, but the wait was well worth it. My hairstylist, Hiroko, was super nice and did a wonderful job of fixing my hair. She asked all the right questions to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. On top of that, she made some great style suggestions to help me properly take care of my hair at home! Will definitely be coming back when my hair grows out again. Thanks again to all the staff at Chura for doing such a great job!

Ok so I just wanted a c curl at the end and I showed pictures to the designer how I wanted it. He curled my entire hair and I was basically looking like a lion with hair going out every direction. It was completely different from what I requested and wanted. They were like if you don't like it you can come back in 2 week and will do something else for free, but why would I want to go back after my hair was messed up? So I came to another salon to straighten my hair and this is how he cut my hair. Right side was longer than left side and there were parts of my hair that were just chopped off like the picture. I'm really disappointed in how everything turned out even though I showed pictures and clearly told him what I wanted. I don't think I will go back.
