This is a really cool place to go see a movie and have dinner or lunch. I took my small kids 3&5 here for the "Little Lunch Date" event and my kids loved it. The way the tables were set up they were able to stand up and move around without disturbing anyone. The entire menu is movie themed, which is really fun. The food isn't great, but the overall atmosphere is so fun that it kind of makes up for it.
It's still pretty cool sitting down and having a meal while watching the latest movies. The food is pretty generic, but that's perfect for the vibe; it almost feels like going back to the 80's when everything was awesome.
Scratch Ticket Bingo. Was fun. Appetizer only, food is meh. Craft beers, and drink menu pricey.
We absolutely love going here for comedy shows, trivia, special events, and of course movies! I love the sour patch themed drinks the most, and the Adam Sampler is always perfect. The online ticket ordering process is also easy to understand and a breeze to check in. I definitely recommend Chunky's to anyone in town!
If there was a zero you would get it. Went last weekend with my wife. We ordered a beer each, appetizer and our meal. Well one hour later the beers came and still no food. My wife found the manager and she agreed to a refund. I asked what the heck is going on ? She said lack of help. if they can't serve the public in a timely manner they need to shut down. what a waste of time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you like paying for other people’s food, then Chunky’s is for you. They lost my order and charged me for another table instead. Fortunately for me, I knew the people and they paid me back, but there is no guarantee that this won’t happen again. I’ve had better experiences at indie art house theaters with open bars. 0/5 will not be returning
It was so comfortable here! The food was very good. I loved the comfortable seats and helpful staff. The drinks were fun, movie themed and very tasty! As fun as movie theaters get
2 stars are for the fact that staff are friendly and it’s clean. However, we got food before we got drinks. Our nachos came out ice col with chicken that looked Like it was just pulled out of a can pink and all We ordered a buzz burger which comes with cheese, yet it came out without any. So after 10 minutes of waiting for our server to come back so we could let Her know, I told her, and she brought me a plate of cold Cheese to fix the problem. Absolutely gross. And You walk by the kitchen and all you see is TONS of food just sitting under the heat lamps. $140 later for dinner without booze for 5 of us, and it was Definitely not worth the money.
Took over an hour to get my meal. Everyone else was on dessert before my chicken tacos arrived. By the time I got them, they were cold and dry. Waiter was great, though.
I hate leaving negative comments however this is warranted. If you advertise a special mealbeef tips the plate should be fully heated. My rice was stone cold. Beans and meat were not close to warm. The rest of my order was fine. I would have liked to tried the special but after having a plate given to me cold I could not trust another order.
