In general, the quality of Chucks has come down. But I was super-disappointed going for dinner tonight! I usually getter better food and drink service at a fast food shop. The waitress was apathetic when we put in our order. When we received the sweet potato fries, they were obviously burnt. The waitress commented before we did at how burnt the fries were, but continued, that she does not work in the kitchen. We ate part of 1 fry and sent the rest to the garbage, but were still expected to pay the $1.99 upgrade. The hamburger was pretty good. The Chuck's Philly Cheese sandwich looked pathetic and small... and it was dry! The only thing this restaurant did to my expectations... charge the extra 3% Honest to Goodness fee. I came home and ate a salad.
Awesome place with huge patio and bar available. Great food and drinks for amazing prices. Lots of specials. Friendly staff. Fast kitchen. Free WiFi. Clean washrooms. Plenty of parking.Food: 5/5
I always love this location. Everyone is super nice, and the food is great. I always receive drinks quickly. Its only a five minute drive from Niagara College. On St. Patrick's day, the staff took great care of us despite being under pressure with a completely full restaurant. We received our food quickly, especially considering the high number of the people in the restaurant. The cocktail they had to offer just for St. Patrick's day was amazing! The franchise's half priced appetizers after 9pm deal is the best. It lets you try a few things at a way cheaper price. The bruschetta bread is probably my favorite appetizer! Sadly, some patrons like to throw their cigarettes all around the entrance. I don't remember seeing an outdoor cigarette receptacle though. Parking: Lots of space very close to the entrance.
Excellent food, excellent service. We always enjoy dinner here and tonight was no exception. Great value too!Food: 5/5
Came back for 2nd try after bad experience. Supposed to be medium rare steak was brought to table well done with the top not charred but burnt. Lobster was tough. Flagged down waiter, he finally came by after having forgotten my husbands drink refill. Again. still with no drink. Told him issue. While offer for remake was made, my husband was 2/3 done already. By the time they recooked it, hubby would be done and would spend 20 min watching me eat. I asked if they could just take back the steak and replace with desert. I was told they could only do it for the least expensive option....well below price of the steak. He said would talk to manager. Reminded him of missing drink for 3rd time. They did eventually adjust the bill for the kitchen staff not knowing meat temperatures by removing the price of the steak. Lousy way to kick off an anniversary celebration that they were told about. Still waiting for that drink....
Just ordered takeout from chucks. We ordered 2 chicken parm one with marinara sauce the other with butter parm sauce. The order with marinara the sauce was good. The chicken was way over cooked hard and dry. The sauce was only on the spaghetti part not on the chicken. The other one with butter parm was gross spaghetti was over cooked and the chicken again was dry and hard. For 15.99 a plate they should be rethinking a way to make this dish better. Anyway we barely ate any of this food that's how bad it was. Never again.
Staff is super attentive, kind and provides a bunch of options... Food was actually really good and surprisingly the meat was at the right term. A couple of beverages came few minutes late and that's why 4/5 but other than that everything else was good. I lived that they have some cocktail with Clamato and it's saucea... Similar to Michelada
Terrible experience. A group of 5 of us went for a late dinner and had to wait 10 minutes for a table because they didn't want to push 2 of the 4 open tables together, then waited 15 minutes for the waitress to come talk to us. All of the food was over cooked and one of the burgers had a steak stick one that says how the steak was cooked in between the bun and the meat. The waitress only came over to bring the food and then the bill, which we sat for over 30 minutes after our food being done and had to stand up and get our jackets on for her to get us the bill.
Everything is very spacious and goes with an open concept. Our server Cassie was lovely and interactive during The food was great except for my lobster tail, it was rubbery and unfortunately had not been cleaned properly. It felt like I had sand in my teeth, and who knows what else. Other than that, the meal was great, and the dessert was so scrumptious
I'm not a fan of the semi country aesthetic, so I do have a bias against the atmosphere. The prices surprise me for the portion sizes, enough to make me wonder if it's even sustainable in this location. It was busy, and the host seemed new, so forgot our cutlery; but our server was quick to respond when we pointed it out. My only concern is that the kitchen door was kept propped open the entire time, rather than left to swing Parking: Unless multiple large parties, or a big sports game is on, parking shouldn't be an issue. Though turning left out of there could be, so using the back way out if the garage next door hasn't finished blocking that path off yet would be helpful to head in that general direction Wheelchair accessibility: 3 or 4 designated handicap spots, ramp to door, with automatic doors. If it's busy, it may be difficult to maneuver to a good spot if you are there to watch the game on the TV screens
