A buddy and I rode our bikes 108 miles when we saw this place had roughly 4 stars and thought we'd give it a whirl. After camping in tents and eating oats and rice for a day THIS is just what we needed :) We had cheese curds, double burgers, a couple of beers and we bowled a round...and it was all perfect! The staff was friendly and we ordered what people said were good and we were not disappointed. The burgers are char broiled and the curds are fresh, and the fries are quick in front of you when you order. I don't normally post but I wanted to make sure that I did for Chuck's as it was a little slice of Heaven for some warn out travelers. Update: stopped by again this summer and the burgers and cheese curds are still good. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger and she craving it some 4 weeks later 😀

This place is the epitome of what I love about Wisconsin! Local tavern atmosphere mixed with great food at reasonable prices. And, apparently, the best deep fried cheese curds around! (Ask your friends; they will agree.) Add in a small 5-7 lane (I didn't count) bowling alley off the back and you have a true Wisconsin landmark. Can't wait to go back!

Chuck's is great! My friends and I are I the area for a weekend once a year. We always make sure to make at least one trip to Chuck's. Their cheese curds are amazing and their burgers are fantastic. I've never bowled there but it looks like their balls are round and their floors are flat, so they got that going for them. I have *seen* people bowling and it looks like they're having fun. Definitely recommended, and not just because there's, like, nothing else up there.

Fun place, never had a bad lunch. Hamburgers and pizzas a very good. Try the deep fried cheese curds are amazing.
