The best veggie subway sandwich I’ve had in Toronto!! Cozy place with excellent staff and ambiance. Makes sense why this place is rated so high! You get a foot long for $6 and it tastes amazing. Plenty of fillings and dressing options available. The bread too was so fresh and lite. Would definitely recommend this place. Must try if your looking for something similar to but much better tasting than Subway.

Wow. This really sucks!!! I have a sub franchise that's a 2 minute walk from my house. And after trying Chubbys subs, I can never go there again. Family of 5, $38, ingredients are super fresh and over flowing. The bread is amazing and Chris and staff are super welcoming. BEST SUB EVERCHICKEN CLUB!!! I just finished my sub, and I'm already looking forward to going back.

This is the best Sub in town. It is 100 times better than Subway. We had Turkey bacon sub and breaded chicken sub and it was so delicious. I very much recommend just to give them a try.Recommended dishesChicken Club

Great vibe going in with a friendly chap making the sub. The toppings weren't loaded - what seemed like just enough as they were going on - but I do wish I had asked for a few more pickles. 6 on a 12" sub just didn't cut it. The bun was quite cold - likely recently out of the fridge, so it was kinda firm and doughy. I added bacon to my turkey sub and it was great except for the real chewy bits. Not exceptional, just fine. Not saucy enough.

I'm never having Subway or Quiznos near me after visiting this place today. It's like a hidden gem of Scarborough for sure, many people drive by but never go in. Prices are amazing, their daily special footlongs are only $6.4. Service was very friendly, they also don't skimp on the portions while making your Sub. They make the bread in-house and you can taste the difference. Inside gives off 80s/90s vibes, the pictures, colours and paintings around the dine-in area are so cool! Makes you feel like you've travelled back in time. I'll definitely be coming back!

Beyond the unassuming exterior lies some of the freshest, most delicious subs you've ever tasted! Chubby’s is truly one of the best restaurants around. It’s very rare that “fast food” leaves you feeling satisfied and nourished in a healthy way, but that’s what Chubby’s does. Their bread and ingredients are so fresh. I love that it’s a mom and pop shop where you’re always greeted with a smile. I appreciate their affordable prices and the fact they’ve kept them the same. My family gets takeaway here at least twice a week.

I use to go subway for subs until I found this place. This has ruined subway for me and having a sub anywhere else is not the same anymore. They have so many varieties but my go to is the turkey bacon. They perfected the science in building your sub. Great value and ingredients.Food: 5/5

Chubby’s is the real deal. Everything is made with care. The steak & cheese is the best sub on the menu. All homemade toppings. Steak, chicken, bacon all cooked in house. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. Way better than any franchise sub shop. Chubby’s is the best

Very very friendly owners at Chubby’s- a pleasant surprise after we randomly walked into the restaurant. Great price-fresh meatballs and turkey n cheese sub. Loved the baseball, hockey, soccer and basketball players pics on display. Itwas windy outside after our visit to the Zoo- yet the warmth of the owners and yummy subs warmed our hearts! It’s a gem people should not miss. Will definitely come back! Thank you for everything!

The best sub shop in Scarborough. It's all been said - fresh, tasty, warm, homemade, friendly, fabulous soups and fair prices across the board. Also, for bacon lovers out there - this place has the best bacon for subs and you get generous portions of it. Get a double meat Turkey Bacon and it will change your life.
