The food was great! My husband had the mushroom Swiss burger with fries, and I ate the chicken tacos. Both dishes were served hot, with fresh ingredients. The bar has a large variety of beer on tap, and stocked well. The service was outstanding as well! Chrissy's is going on our new favorite place to have a quick meal in a relaxed atmosphere. They also have gaming if you enjoy that as well.
We went for my sister's goodbye party. Their menu is HUGE and the food is so good. My husband and wish the lighting was a bit darker in the eatery for atmosphere. My sister is moving and the owners gave her a goodbye present since they knew her and her husband. I thought that was wonderful. The service is wonderful. The server was in there constantly checking on our party.
Unfortunately, it appears that the food quality wasn't included with the change of management. Chrissy's used to have a fantastic spread, never remotely disappointing. Tonight's order was... mediocre at best. The food was dry, soggy, possibly reheated, and/or containing mistakes ordered several items; none were great. Mind you, this wasn't the worst meal we've had. It was mostly just... very disappointing since we've all really enjoyed Chrissy's in the past. Edit: Apparently the meal was worse than previously thought as more than one of the individuals who ate ended up... not feeling too hot the following day.
Good if you're dining in. No problems at all. CHECK EACH CONTAINER WHEN GETTING TO GO BEFORE LEAVING THE ESTABLISHMENT!!!!! The last 2 times we've ordered to go my burger was messed up but my husband's are always correct. Last time they forgot the cheese and this time I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and got what I think was some chopped pork or burger with bbq sauce.
New owners since my last visit. Didn't try the food. Went for the karokee, loved that it started at 7:30 instead of 9 like most places. Wasn't impressed enough to go back for it.Service: 5/5
4$ margaritas listed on the board and online are somehow 5$ now. Would not honor the listed special. Charged extra for chilli on nachos as well that was not an add on.
Really nice place to have lunch and drinks. I haven't visited it at night yet, but so far it's my favorite spot for lunch in Carol Stream! Food has nice presentation and Mike, whom I am not sure whether he's the server or thr manager, does a great job at serving and is totally cool! BTW, my online rings were almost finished when I took my pic, lol, the portion is bigger than that.
I've had an amazing experience everytime here are Chrissys. Perfect local bar with great food and service!!Food: 5/5
Can't say nothing wrong about this local business/bar. Mike and all the other bartenders are on top of your needs and the food menu is very ample for all the distinct pallets. My favorite is the philly steak.
The bartender Vugar is super friendly and Sarah the manager is absolutely amazing. Love this place
