Chris' Live Bait is located just east of Marmora on Highway 7 at the corner of Marmora Mine Road.
Chris' Live Bait was established in 1985 and has been family owned and operated since. Chris first started the business to earn a little pocket money selling worms and minnows to fisherman who passed by his family's farm north of Stirling. In 1995, Chris and Sandra moved to Marmora with their 3 children and operated the business as a home occupation on Marble point Road. In 2002, the business was moved to the corner of Highway 7 & Marble Point Rd to a more visible location. Later in 2005, a new store was built located on
Highway 7 and corner of Marmora Mine Road to meet the increasing demand for live bait and tackle within the area. In the last few years the business has expanded to carry hunting supplies, crossbows, ammunition and hunting clothing.
