it's 4.5 star actually. Google please add it soon. This is an Indian Restaurant in Thornhill, Ontario. Just stumbled upon yesterday and the outside looked great. So had to try it. Good: Food is tasty Ambiance is great as well. Spacious and felt a bit different than others Price is also justified. Not so good: Nothing as such , as of now
Excellent dine-in location for good south Indian food. Our server made our experience all the more enjoyable - he gave us recommendations for different spice levels and was very friendly/interactive the whole time. We ordered the classic granite chicken which was super spicy, but just as delicious. The karivepaku chicken was amazing and probably the best dish we ordered - the curry leaves made the dish a lot more strong and flavourful without being too overpowering. The dunsak chicken was very well cooked, but just didn't suit our palettes not used to mixing lentils and chicken. Royal chicken biryani was on point mixed very well with the raita and saalan. Would recommend visiting this location for dine-in because of the great ambience and value for food very affordable for the quantities you receive.
We had a great time there yoday for lunch. Our server was very patient with us as it was our first time there. We had the Granite Chicken, Nizami Chicken Korma, Butter Chicken, Goat Malai and Ghee Roast Chicken Biryani, Garlic Naan, White Rice and a Mango Rupture Lassi. Everything was delicious! Our server was attentive even though she was by herself looking after multiple tables and takeout. Our family will definitely be back to try more of your delicious food. Thank you!!!!
Good Indian Restaurant near Thornhill, serving North / South Indian Cuisine. Restaurant is spacious , clean and quiet, with plenty parking in front. We ordered samosas,Chicken Biryanis, Goat Curries with Naan, chicken 999 and mango lassi. Their goat, biryanis are very good, samosa is a ok . Mango lassie is a must have: very tasty, and can reduce and soothe the spicy taste of the food! There is only one girl serving the entire restaurant, but she is very helpful and friendly. Remember to order foods with reduced spicy. Deco is mixing Chinese and Indian style, foods are reasonably priced, so will come back!
We loved the south Indian dishes served and if you are around this area, don't miss out this place : We had - Masala Dosa, Idli Sambhar, Uttapam and Plain Dosa. It was just awesome... Great staff - very polite and calm.
The food was super tasty.... the service? equally horrible. Ordered chicken 999, Chicken schezwan fried rice and chicken 65 dosa, lemon soda and Thums up. Chicken 999 was tasty and arrived in 10 minutes. Fried rice and lemon soda took 35 mins to arrive and thums up took 20 Minutes!! The restaurant is busy fulfilling online orders and does not want to serve their customers who are dining in. This restaurant has the potential of being one of the best indian restaurants in GTA but is led down by the dine in experience.
My order was not ready when I arrived.We had to wait. The ambience is cool. It’s a typical Indian restaurant design. The dining area is spacious.
Good Indian cuisine. Tasty and sufficient quantity. Recommend : Gongura lamb Biryani lamb Rogan Josh Peshawari naan Granite chicken with aloo paratha Nellore fish curry
We were there a couple of months back for dine in and we really loved the food. We have ordered chili chicken, garlic naan, paneer, and kondaveedu chicken biryani. Everything tastes great. We went for dine in. Service was also good. We did take out after one month and we enjoyed and liked the consistency.
A co-worker recently told me about Chowrasta. I gave them a try today and was not disappointed. A great option for takeout or dine-in. Friendly staff who work quickly. Food was great, I will be going back for sure. Hardest part will be deciding what to try next time.
