Relatively new to this franchise...this particular location and experience with this staff has been unpleasant. When asking questions about their meals it seemed they didn't care or lack the knowhow in promoting their products even though it was completely empty. Looked back at staff when leaving only to see them laugh at me out the door. Now I know why it's not that busy. A bad vibe and overall unwelcoming. Read other 1 star reviews. Not the best when this franchise is relatively new on the market and ample competition all around. Best go to freshii nearby.
I enjoy the food here but the staff is really blah. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen a staff member smile. No hellos, nothing. I went in today for a wrap at 5:35 and was told it had to be to go because they were closing at 6:00. I can eat a wrap in 25 minutes. I’ve seen many complaints about the staff here and I’m not sure why they can’t be told to cheer up a little
This might be the best chopped leaf in the lower mainland. I can only compare this location to the surrey and Langley locations. That being said, the Surrey and Langley locations were terrible. I worked in the Ironwood area summer of 2022. So I would have chopped leaf 2-4 times a week. And it never missed. I came back last week Feb 2023 because I was in the area, and I was elated with the quality of my wrap, the no5. Whatever you guys are doing, do not change a thing.
Great healthy meal options, ingredients are so fresh. Lots of parking, friendly staff and just a nice place to have a meal. The Aztec is so delicious, don’t forget to order a bottle of Kombucha!
I've been here twice and I do enjoy the food, but I likely won't go back. Let me explain why. 1. Protein is an add-on and an additional cost You can add chicken, tofu, salmon, prawns, but all at an additional cost $3-4.50 extra. So, the wraps / salads are good for vegetarians, but if you're not, know there will be an extra cost. 2. The food is good, but it reminds me of a food court or cafeteria. The vegetables are fresh and crunchy, and the combos are okay, but they're not anything inventive or spectacular. That said, before the cost of the protein, the food is pretty affordable and well priced. 3. The tortillas for the wraps are chewy. The unfortunate downfall of the otherwise good wrap is the chewy tortilla. It's not tough, necessarily, but in pleasantly chewy and interferes with the enjoyment of the wrap. But, I still would consider going back for these reasons: 1. Good customer service and helpful employees 2. Quick, healthy meal depending in what you get, of course 3. Reasonably priced without add-ons.
Changing my rating to 1*. The chicken they gave me today was absolutely horrible, looked fake and old and tast: disgusting. I won't be coming for a while!!! Older visit: 3.5 star rating would be correct from me as depends when you visit this place. Many times there is mess left on tables long after people leave. Food is delicious and portions are good, but i would like to see new things on the menu, because as of now I eat only 30% of the menu. Little bit faster cleaning and couple new different options and I will give 5*
Me and my girlfriend went there like a week ago. I love chopped leaf and been to all locations in Vancouver. It was my first time in Richmond and I met the ownerRichard there. He was so sweet and provided exceptional customer service We talked a lot and it was a great experience. Must visit the place is clean and the outside sitting area is like a garden just for you love it PS- I didn’t take pictures of the bowl
The good: Great tasting, fresh food. The bad: Poor value. Underwhelming serving size. Ok so I've only eaten here once and I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich along with a small bowl of soup and bottle of water $15+. While the sandwich and soup had great flavour, the sandwich had hardly any chicken on it. I would guess 2 oz. There were bites of the sandwich that had no chicken in it. If you like to eat light and don't mind paying extra to do so, this is the place for you.
Had a great experience, staff was very willing to give more information about different items that I didn’t order. Also a pretty healthy and large portion for the price.
Surprisingly good lunch spot. Healthy and tasty. Staff is younger and friendly. I good choice if you're in the area.
