Really loved the food here. Fantastic starters with beef Tartare and soups. The wine was decent and the staff was wonderful. The best part of the whole journey definitely was the Cut for Two people with a variety of different pieces of meat. Each more delicious than the other one. The portion was enormous. We came hungry and still sadly couldn't finish it. Maybe potential to improve here the amount/price of the dish. Otherwise definitely an expensive restaurant but fantastic products and dishes.
This restaurant is an easy 10/10! Our waiter Milan was so top tier! He was patient, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, & clearly communicated his meal and drink recommendations based on the customer’s likes and dislikes. My friends and I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday & we really enjoyed our time here. If we don’t return anytime soon, we are sure to recommend this restaurant along with Milan’s service to anyone we know traveling to Split!
This was the most delicious meal, I had a glass of wine, a steakwith topping, a side dish and a bowl of handmade pasta. The steak was cooked perfectly and everything tasted amazing. The staff was so kind and sweet. I was traveling solo I didn't make a reservation I tried to get a table here and 1 other restaurant. The other wouldn't even wait list me for a table or even a seat at the bar. The host here took my info and put me on a wait list. I had a nice table right in the middle of the restaurant. The whole dinner was $66USD plus tip. At home the steak alone would have cost that alone.
Probably among the best steaks we had in Croatia. Good location, very good service and excellent food. Not cheap but worth every Kuna and a clear recommendation. We had no reservation but they found a nice table, nevertheless I clearly recommend to reserve in advance in high season.
Few days in split early in season. Went in to try the steaks. You can tell its a bit more upmarket and prices are very fair for the quality Compared to UK The cold meat plate to start was excellent quality. The steaks quite simply the best steaks we have ever had, and we have had a few! The Wellington was worthy of any top restaurants anywhere, top class. The truffle mash tasted amazing. I only had one small gripe. A Cold plate meant the mash got cold quick. I did mention this at the end and i was made to feel it was my fault for not mentioning earlier. It was still 5 stars but just accept my feedback and make it perfect for someone else.:- A hot plate should be standard at this level. Just nearly perfect experience.
We had an outstanding meal here and the service couldn’t be beat! We stopped by for an early dinner without a reservation and the waiter was very accommodating. The monkfish with truffle was incredible, as was the bagged fish with prawns, mussels, and tagliatelle. Nice outdoor atmosphere as well.
Had the shrimp risotto with beetroot sauce and it was creamy, earthy and had tons of small shrimp throughout. Family also ordered the potato leek soup which was surprisngly really rich and the "Adriatic Traditional delight for 2 people" which was a buttery pot of seafood and linguini to share. The shrimp pate was also quite delicious, just wished they included more toast. Overall everything, including the service was great.
Fantastic. The chicken was well flavored, my grilled vegetables were delicious. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and it showed up pretty, tasty, and strong. We were a larger group, and they were Ble to accommodate us, and treat us kindly while doing it. It was great.
A clear choice if you want excellent quality of meat in a nice terrace by the old town. Antonia took excellent care of us, professional and very friendly. The quality of our dishes was amongst the best meat dishes we had. Will definitely go back next time in Split
Great dishes from start to finish. For the appetizer I had the burrata mozzarella, which was perfect served cold on a hot day. I had wagyu and tuna which were cooked perfectly. For dessert I had the chocolate volcano, which was a nice cherry on top, even for a person like me who doesn't usually get dessert. The food was assembled beautifully and the dishes were delicious.
