Oh boy. Started out bad. Got seated and asked for a pop. She must have forgot cause about 15 minutes later I flagged down another girl to get a drink and finally place my order. The buffet didn’t look the best so I thought I’d try something fresh. #7 for one Chicken chow mein Almond chicken Dry garlic pork $15.99 And a spring roll $2.50 Well I was not prepared for what was to come lol. Noodles had a weird taste not even what I’d call flavor. The chicken was some sort of boiled mush But holy two firsts for me. Garlic powder sprinkles on the dry garlic pork And Full almonds on the barely cooked almond chicken??? This was by far the worst “Chinese” food I have ever had.
Second best all-you-can-eat in PG. A bit expensive $27pp at time of writing, but so is the other place. There is lots of selection, and the quality is 4/5 most nights. Sometimes like if you go a little later, around 8ish the food can be a little on the "3/5" side, but still good. There's also a salad bar, ice cream machine, and pop machine for unlimited use. Max stay is 2 hours. Vegetarian options: There are good vegetarian options in the buffet. Even more on the menu. Parking: Tons of parking as it is in a mall. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly and western options chicken strips, onion rings, fries, etc Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor, no stairs. Wheelchair accessible parking, seating, and entrance.
We went here and I was happy to see and eat with my grandma only to be let down with the food and service, during the entire time we were there every 1-2 minutes they would come and ask when we are gonna pay the bill, not to mention the food was mediocre, would not recommend and I got sick afterwards, try somewhere else! Golden plate or edo are pretty good
The food here has gone downhill, and so has the service. Every time I've eaten here, it's given me a hard-core stomach ache for days. I believe it's mild food poisoning. The employees are hit or miss. Sometimes you get friendly service, and sometimes you get rude service. They lack on taking your plates away while you're dining as well. They used to have better service, at least, but now your plates just sit on your table and pile up when you're out to eat with family.
We ordered takeout. Sweet and sour pork: The best dish we ordered. Larger meaty pieces with not too much breading. Dark read sauce. Not too sweet. Ginger beef: The quality of the beef pieces was good but the flavor was not. The China Cup buffet ginger beef has the same sauce as the beef and broccoli but just with some pieces of ginger. No what I consider ginger beef. Beef and broccoli: Good quality beef and fresher than normal broccoli but the flavor was nothing special. Summary. Not a bad choice if you work near by but not worth crossing neighborhoods for. I probably won't order from China Cup again just because there are better options closer to me.
This was a deeply traumatic experience for me, the regulars are on their last legs spreading their dying breathe across the serving utensils. The restroom was horrifying, appearing as if someone had unloaded across 3/5ths of the floor and neither stall could provide the necessary privacy for one to conduct any manner of business. Of course the taps look like they have been religiously shunned by the aforementioned husks of people who frequent this joint. In short to even place bare skin upon any serving spoon or tong will shave a year off your life each time guaranteed. Wheelchair accessibility: I’m surprised the regulars can still walk but they wouldn’t have any trouble getting here if they couldn’t.
This restaurant could be so great if only the filled their food items little bit at a time. They make too much food and then don't throw it out when nobody eats it resulting in awful over cooked food Their hot and sour soup is AWFUL I can't even call it hot and sour soup. It tastes days old and reheated. It's not hot or sour, it's just gross I don't trust how old the food is here, I have one gotten food poisoning. It's a shame because it really could be an excellent buffet The owner/ chef must have never eaten Chinese food outside of TV dinners. Even then I have had TV microwave dinner that is way better quality
The food has gone completely downhill. Never going back. Everything was dry and distasteful!!! No cutlery. No staff. Ice cream machine wasn’t working. The building temperature was not regulated at all. Super hot. I’m not one to leave reviews but I used to love this place. Not anymore. Probably the new management.
Delicious and wide selection of food. Their hot and sour soup is amazing! Many kinds of noodles, meats, and veggies too. Great soda selection. Ideal for kids and groups
Keep on keeping on! I enjoyed meeting with family and friends to share a delicious meal with My Mom and older brother for her birthday! 06/29/23Food: 5/5
