Firstly, I never leave bad reviews - but I’m blown away. I’ve lived in Red Deer my entire life. I’ve ordered from here countless times. This was $90, this is a dinner for SIX people Divide the rice in this picture among 6 people - so I guess people get 2 tablespoons of rice now when ordering take out from China Ben’s? Try dividing the beef and Broccoli among 6 people. $90 - this is crazy Note: The ginger beef is a double order. The portion size of everything has decreased substantially. This is extremely disappointing. This does not feed six people and if it does, it’s very small portions with zero leftovers in comparison to what they use to give
Lived in Red Deer area for over 20 years and didn't know about this place, it's not advertised very well and is kind of hidden. But if you're looking for GOOD Chinese food in town, don't waste your time looking any further. They also have a weekday buffet.
Just a small sample of their delicious buffet! My friend says the deep fried offerings, wings, dry ribs, shrimp, and chicken balls all tender and tasty! Vegetables fresh and so good! The restaurant is nothing fancyin a strip mall but it’s clean, tidy and all the food was very good! Oh, yes, let’s not forget the lovely assortment of dessert tidbits to finish off our meal! Super affordable,as well. Gets busy at lunch time, locals know about this place! We will be back!!! Thanks for a wonderful lunch, China Ben!
Food wasn't that good some of it was ok but the part that threw me off the most is that I found a metal shaving in my food when I took a bite of the chow mein... Glad I didn't eat that.
We dined in and found the food fresh, crisp, and delicious. I think maybe for the first time we tasted actual ginger in our ginger beef. Our dishes in a dinner for four were generously portioned, and easily left us with school/work lunches for the next day. The waitress was polite, fair, and accommodating even though we arrived at an hour - near closing- when it might almost be considered impolite. I think this is our new go to place for Chinese food in Red Deer
Food is not the same as I rember prepandemic. No indoor seating. I miss the buffet at noon. The food is hot hot hot The cram the containers so full they are spilling ! Its mostly rice. I wont eat all this. A dinner for one has so much food it could also feed two or three.
Very expensive for a an special for 2 , hardly any food. Not worth the money. Better to go to a Chinese restaurant down near the court house. Food and service awesome.Food: 4/5

Restraunt caller stating delivery driver was waiting outside my residence when clearly he was not. Then as time passed I called back asking if they had wrote down the correct address!?! Restaurant employee stated "oh he'll be back in just a few minutes." Half an hr goes by and still no driver! Then finally when he does arrive the food is not only cold but soggy. Not exactly the most ideal meal. I won't be ordering from here again! Maybe a discount at that point would be a good way of showing customer appreciation. Just my thoughts....
I got delivery. It showed up a bit earlier than they quoted and everything was great. Will order againFood: 5/5
