Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre

To give an honest review with out being harsh... I personally like the previous arrangement of the equipment a whole lot more than the current. It is very crowded and Its difficult to put plates back on these machines that are so close to another object. Theres limit plated weights aswell to point out where as the previous equipment had all the weights you could ever need. I can hardly get effective workouts at this gym now. Also The weights are a mess, what happened to the staff that would be around to keep things cleaned and organized. Ever since ymca started to modernize their gyms and then take ownership of the leisure center it got worse. The gym equipment needs a better arrangement to create space at the least.

I feel its not sanitary the family room looked like it wasnt clean there were diapers left on the floor in the change room.

My kids and wife love the pool and water park, the gym isn’t bad, but my only issue is with the power tripping teenage lifeguards, in what world is it not okay for my daughter to sit on my shoulders in a pool. I ignored them telling me I can’t do that because that’s ridiculous, and I was told if I didn’t listen to them I’d have to leave. Kinda disappointed with how I was talked to.

The water park is amazing! So much fun in the summer. A free refreshing activity for a hot day with the littles. I’d recommendnremembering to bring a little first aid kit as it is cement ground and falls are bound to happen.nThe pool is usually busy but still fun for sure, there’s a nice lazy river and family hot tub too. They have loads of life jackets for kids and some floaties and foam noodles.nThe staff have been friendly over the years so far no bad experiences at all.nHighly recommend checking out everything this place has to offer! :

Clean, adult hot tub is nice and steamy, pool is large, nice that separate area of adults and children for both hot tub and pool
