We were in Hamilton looking for a place to eat and stumbled across this restaurant in a Google search. Now I will tell you it’s hard to find at night, it’s a small sign and the doors blend in with the surrounding businesses but don’t despair. This place is with the effort to find. The space is huge and inviting and the service was amazing. The food is where this place really shines. We ordered the chicken tandoori and chicken biryani and about wanted to kiss the chef. Who, by the way, personally came to check on us and the food. Each bite was a flavor explosion and we were not disappointed. The team here was inviting and low pressure, offering to assist us with our choices and very concerned about our enjoyment. If I find myself back in Hamilton I will absolutely be back here.
Overall a great experience and food was good. Our server seemed to struggle having to confirm order few times forgot to ask about spice level. Restaurant seems to still have some growing pains as bar is not open yet and décor is incomplete. There is stairs unsure if elevator so call ahead if you need one.
Food was SOOOO yummy. We also played pool here after dinner! Loved the Mutton Ghee Roast and Butter Chicken. Jyothi provided us with EXCELLENT recommendations and service. 10/10, so glad Hamilton has authentic Indian food. Would be nice to see this place have events, huge space!
I went here for a weekend lunch. Their biryani is too good and I have been regularly ordering their biryani but this was the first time I tried the main course and the paneer tikka masala instantly took me back home. Very falvorful and the right amount of spices not like the tomato based sweet gravy that you would get in most places. The samosas were not authentic in taste but had a good flavor, different but good different. I would highly recommend their paneer tikka masala and the paneer 65 biryani.
This restaurant holds the best and authentic Indian taste. The satisfaction we get after every single bite is mind boggling. The service was very warmth. The best place satisfy your Indian taste craving. Panner 65 biryani was the best along with aloo kurma.
After the hiking at Chedoka falls, we were so done with energy and damn hungry. Upon looking at the reviews, at first it felt like too hyped but after taking the first bite of chicken Biriyani in mouth, it felt like HOME INDIA. Spices blended so well and my kid who is picky about Chicken Biriyani couldn’t stop praising “Feels like the Biriyani came from India”he used to order almost all Biriyani during our last visit to India, “ This is better than our Brampton la Biriyani’ & … and wish we are here in Hamilton “.. , “This rice is too good” and he is unstoppable. We also tried Paneer Biriyani, and Chilli chicken and every penny worth. Thank you Guys!! Can’t wait to hear the restaurant open for dining and recreation, So can experience the ambience while eating. This is my first ever review and every review for Chilli and Chimneys feels so true. It's a must go place for everyone. Extra decent space and extraordinary staff. They made sure to serve us best. The food was yummy. It didn't had too much spice in it, so it felt very light yet delicious. I will be going again!! Thanks for the best food and best service : it was not too pricey either. Also the nice and clean washrooms were a plus another interesting fact is they have indoor gaming area as well as a stage potential of hosting parties. The interior is vibrant..good music ..good finishes..love it!!! finding the place could be tricky but if you stick to finding the building number rather than the restaurant name, it's an easy find. Also plenty of parking available on street as well as public parking for low rates.
Unbelievable fingerlicking sumptuous Indian feast, felt like I was sitting at home and enjoying my mom's food. That's the best compliment I could think of. Place is not fully done and they are renovating, I am sure it's gonna be one awesome Indian joint. Can't wait to get back there. Very warm service staff and extremely value for money meal. Love love loved it
Had the Chicken 65 and it was honestly some of the best Biriyani I have ever had in Hamilton. This is a fantastic new find in the Downtown Core. Service was fast and good and they were very excited to talk about their food and make recommendations.Food: 5/5
The Biryani was amazing and would order again for sure!!! We ordered the chicken Manchurian and chicken chettinad which were okay. The Manchurian was a bit saltier but had other great flavours. The chettinad had the chicken cooked too long that the bone broke down into small bits so we had to consistently be aware of the bones but that could be a one off Looking forward to try other dishes
