Stopped at Chill Out for a cool treat after spending some time at the lake with the family. There is a large selection of Foothills Creamery ice creams, 36 flavours total I believe. The pricing and portions were reasonable given that it's summer and tourist season. The staff were really friendly and patient given how hard it was to choose amongst all the available flavours. The one thing we didn't see was the frozen yogurt options, but maybe we were so overwhelmed by all the ice cream choices that we overlooked it. We'll definitely return again.
Not a great experience tonight. Got there around 10 to 8 and they were obviously trying to close. 3 servers working - 2 cleaning and one talking to her friend - I may as well been invisible. They served the friend first even though he walked in after us. When we were finally acknowledged and served we went to pay - the server continued to talk to her friends abd simply turned the terminal to us so we could pay without saying a word. We will stick with Screamers. Edit to reply to owners response: your staff is not very truthful with you but thank you for your response.
The flavours of ice creams here are tasty, but the staff, especially the girl who served us when we visited, is unfriendly. You need to have customer service, especially for people who are simply tourists.
Stopped by on Sunday night and had the Espresso Fudge and Cookie Dough. Thanks to Brenda and staff for the great hospitality...see you next time we're in town!
So, this is our new ice cream place. Chill Out Ice Cream is MUCH preferable over any other place we have tried. Some flavors we've never heard of, but EVERY flavor is an absolute delight! If you are even remotely near here, we'd highly recommend just popping your head in and having a look.
Chill Out Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt is a place you absolutely must stop at when in Invermere! There are so many flavors of ice cream and frozen yogurt to choose from you will have to come back many, many times to try them all! The prices are reasonable and the portions are just right. If you are craving a sweet treat this is the place for you!!

Most definitely the best selection, and quality of ice cream in the area. Generous portions. Service was great. Have to go back just to try a different flavor each time.
THE BEST ice cream I have had in my life! And very close to the base taste and texture of homemade ice cream. I ordered coconut that had real crumbles of toasted coconut, rich creamy flavor that did not taste artificial, and caramel candy apple that tasted like a creamy green apple Jolly rancher. Very interesting flavors and unique names. My daughter got rootbeer float and shark attack grape flavor which I tried and they were also awesome. We had spent a hot day at Fairmont springs and I googled ice cream shop close to me. This happened to be the closest place en route to Banff, but we totally lucked out in discovering this place and the Foothills Creamery brand of ice cream.
There was a great selection of flavours and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was behind a group of half a dozen people and I think between them they tried every flavour at least once and the staff didnt even bat an eye. Their 1 scoop is actually 2 and the 2 scoops is actually 4 so it's a good deal, I paid $5 for the 1 scoop. They were out of waffle cones though so that was sad, I only had a regular cone. My only real complaint is theres a door on both sides of the building and they dont have them specified as exit or entrance doors so when its busy it can be confusing who's next in line
