The whole system is flawed. I wasn’t sure if I could write anything unless I gave at least a star, but i would give zero stars if possible. The payment system is horrible. I can’t even get a payment through without using a credit card. Every mode of payment carries an additional fee each time. Isn’t it enough that we have to pay money that we shouldn’t be paying to begin with because of the twisted California system and on top to add insult to injury, there’s a fee to pay it. I agree with other reviewers. I’m a father who has not once in 12 years missed a payment for anything. Always pay when I should and the amount I should and yet still get treated like I’m a burden and have done something wrong. Poor experience all the way around.

Father's are automatically treated as second class citizens, The well being of the children are NOT important. They have been given written proof, documentation, that mothers have lied about their income and make the father's pay either way! The only income our home has had to pay all the bills has been taken away from the father to pay the mother because she refuses to take any accountability. So now I lost my business and any income to continue to provide for our children. Please stop extorting fathers!

I have called several times attempting to obtain child support Modification forms for Contra Costa County, Monterey County and San Bernardino, Loma Linda Office. I have been unsuccessful getting in contact with a live person.

I wish there was a -star rating because this state organization doesn't deserve a single star rating. Over 30 minutes of hold time on the phone and on a Tuesday afternoon? Every time I call, it's the same thing. Get your stuff together California!

Their computer system is from the Stone Age. The employees should be required to have at least a bachelors degree. 9/10 employees I have spoken with are deficient in basic communication skills and mathematical skills. You’d think that this government funded agency would at least update their system at least once every 30 years. But they cannot even send you a statement via email. They send mail through snail mail. Let me ask, why in the world would you need my email address on file then selling information are we? They suspended my license for the account being delinquent by $0.03. MY PAYMENTS ARE GARNISHED, FIGURE IT OUT. Instead I get no notice, and no warning. Just a suspended license. Which by the way I had to pay to get reinstated. You automatically take a specific amount every paycheck. And your system is too old to catch an error like this, and I, the U.S. citizen, have the pay the price for YOUR system’s error? They couldn’t even apologize. My car got towed as well, and I also had to pay for that. UPDATE YOUR FREAKING SYSTEM. Better yet, hire staff with at least half a brain to operate the toasters you guys call “computers”. This is everything that is wrong with our nation. Spend money where we need it. Government officials need to stop lining their pockets, stop investing into stocks you can directly manipulate, AND UPDATE THEIR DEPARTMENTS SYSTEM.

Takes forever for them to call you, espically when they are screwing up your case

Legalized extortion. When will the system change. How can they charge interest? The letters they send out are a perfect example of extortion.

My son went here a few years ago and they were very helpful, friendly and helped him with all the necessary paperwork that he was looking for. Excellent place to go if you have any questions.
