I wish I had a glowing review to share. Things started out so well. The staff is great and was able to help me get all four of my kids in to be seen on the same day as new patients. The receptionist was helpful and made it easy to fill out my forms. The hygienist was kind and my 6 year old son in particular was so excited to have his dentist appointment. When Dr. Steven R. Zollman first enters the room, I don’t expect trouble. But I believe It started when I requested to turn down fluoride treatments for my children. The dentist started to speak down to me through his assistant (he didn't speak to me directly but through her) about my decision finally stating that if I made this choice I must acknowledge that any cavities my child gets would be "my fault". When I told him I was uncomfortable with the way the conversation was going and that I thought it was unprofessional for he to speak to me like that, he (finally speaking to me directly) told me to "get the f*** out of his office". Turning to his hygienist he thrust a finger in her direction and threatened that if he heard one more word from her she will be fired that day. And just like that he stormed out of the room and locked himself in his office. All the while my 6 year old son was sitting there listening to every word. Several of his assistants apologized profusely to us for the dentists behavior. My husband asked to speak to the dentist but he would not come out of his office to talk to him. Later as my husband and I sat outside in the car trying to decide what to do a police car arrived and we were informed that he was called to make sure we left the property. The police officer was very understanding and sympathetic once he heard our story. I am sure Steven must have been having a bad day as my request was simple. I hope he is able to work out the personal details that he must be dealing with and I have forgiven him in my heart. However, I feel it is important for others to be informed of the potentially explosive nature of this dentist before deciding to be seen by him.

This dentist is completely unprofessional and used strong language in front of a child. He was also demeaning to his staff. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Try Kent B. Simmons in the Orchards instead. He has awesome bed manner with my kiddo! I couldn't wish for a better dentist with my 7 yr old!

Rightfully publicly shamed by leading medical professionals. See post in your baby, your way on Facebook. Dr Zollman not only was unethical in trying to force known toxic chemicals into a toddler but when the patients parent refused and questioned him he swore profusely in front of the said child and storm out, threatening to fire his own staff who so horrified at his appalling behavior tried to apologize for his unforgivable and unprofessional manner. This Dr will hopefully be reported to the licensing authorities. Financial gain is obviously at play when trying to force dangerous neurotoxins onto a developing infants system and shaming a parent for rightfully refusing. Clearly not concerned about a child's health if wilfully trying to compromise it.

Unprofessional and doesn't care about his patients. Steer clear and find someone else - it'll be worth the wait.
