If you're looking for a couple of hours of good fun in the winter, this is a great option. It's enjoyable for kids and adults alike. There is a magic carpet to get you to the top, but you'll likely need to wait for it. If you're up for a bit of effort, walking is much faster. Still, even if you walk, if it's busy, there will be a wait up at the top. My family went on a Monday evening and it wasn't too bad, and we were able to get about 8 or 9 runs down in about an hour and a half. My neighbour went during a weekend another time and they only got 2 or 3 runs in over the course of 2+ hours. There is a café on site where you can buy hot chocolate and some snacks, with both indoor and outdoor seating options, so that's a nice option to warm up if it's especially cold out. I wouldn't recommend going during peak hours, but on the quieter evenings, it's definitely worth getting out.
Come early, check in can take at least 20 minutes. As reviews state below, waiting at the top is a pain as there are only 3 staff for 6 lanes so at least at 10 minute wait or more once you each the top. Definitely faster to walk up the hill than taking the moving carpet. Lounge/chalet has nice indoor and outdoor seating. BBQ, other food, beverage and alcohol to purchase available. Washrooms for use and adequate indoor space to change or warm up. Overall a good experience, each person in our group was able to go 8-10 times in the 1.5 hr timeframe, most likely though because we only used the moving carpet once. Great time had by all.
Went for tubing for the first time and it was super fun! It costed about $30 per person for a 90 minute session and we went at 5 pm on a weekday. The lines were a bit long to go up the hill and there were only 2 staff at the top of the mountain managing the 6 different lanes which caused more lines up. However, the overall experience was amazing and it’s a place I would definitely come back to during the winter!
Superb fun place for tubing for families or groups. Well maintained and had an amazing experience of snow tubing.Must plan on advance as you may not get the slot you are looking for .Limited number of people allowed per slot of 90 minutes to avoid the rush . Fun part : Enjoy the piping slice of Cheese Pizza after a tiring tubing session
Amazing experience! My kids, girlfriend and me we went to tubing and really enjoyed this park. We had a blast! Very organized and really nice staff. Be sure you book before going specially in COVID time Looking forward to go again !!
Enjoyed the zip line.. Was not scary at all. My 7yr old could not go on it since the minimum weight requirement is 50lbs. The staff were super friendly and advised him to eat an extra cheese burger to come back next year to enjoy the zip line..
I took my daughter and her friends to Chicopee Tube Park last week. They went at 4:30 pm and it wasn't too busy. They had a blast and rode the hill for the entire 1.5 hours. It did start to get busier at 5:30 pm. I would recommend going early to avoid the line ups. Dress warmly with snow pants, hat and mitts so that you're not too cold. It was quite cold when they went but they dressed for the weather and stayed warm. There's a chalet to sit inside and read or watch the "tubers". They offer food and drinks which is nice. We had a good time and we will be sure to come back again with the family and friends.
We went to Chicopee Tube Park in Kitchener early 9am because we wanted to get a lot of runs in early. We eventually got in like 8 or 9 runs so we got our money's worth! Everything was great however there should be more employees on top of the hill and the lift up the hill should be little faster. Due to Covid distancing, there was more than 5 meters gap between the person ahead of me on the lift up the hill. Walking up the hill was faster than using the lift. The wait time to use the lift was about 10 minutes. Apart from the long queue on the lift, we definitely had a good time.
It's an ideal place to enjoy your birthday or just for fun with your family and friends! The service is pretty good, and the plus has a restaurant and heaters in the patio!
So much fun! Totally worth the money to take the kids out for an afternoon of sliding. They had a blast! If you're looking for something exciting and different to do with the family, this is a must!
