I always give my honest review on places we go eat at. We had high hopes for this place, and we were so excited to have southern food. Unfortunately the food was not at all what we thought it would be. The chicken tastes like it was a pre frozen type chicken, and the roll was just a pre packaged dinner roll, from what it tasted like. We ordered over the phone at 5:30 p.m. To pick it up at 6:00 p.m. we arrived and still had to wait, because it wasn't ready yet. The menu isn't the same as what the prices and sides say they are online, The amount of food you get for the price, was definitely not worth it. We paid a few dollars shy of $40 for what is pictured. Definitely won't eat here again.
This is an great little hole in the wall restaurant that serves southern food and seafood. The catfish sandwich is super good and it was a lot bigger than I was expecting. I recommend you stop in and try it! One thing that could be better is if they would have a pop machine instead of just cans of pop.
Great experience. They were busy first thing in the morning. They treated us like they were not. They were fantastic and the food was fantastic. Cannot wait to go back. This place is pretty amazing. I went with the rib and chicken combo, and added an extra thigh $1.50 so that I could split that meal with my gf. The portions were amazing, the ribs were fantastic, and the chicken was hot and juicy. Amazing vibe with the people working there, and the ambiance was very OG. Definitely recommend.
Two thumbs up for this place. Ordered the Thursday special, ribs & chicken combo that comes with 2 sides. Ribs were moist and fall off the bone tasty! Fried chicken was good - tasty and crunchy. My Sides were large rice & beans and a small potato salad. And above the good food, is the excellent and helpful staff working here. They ensure you are fully satisfied with the food and service. Will definitely eat here again.
I'd say, good chicken! Again good, it wasn't extremely flavorful or spiced, did seem to have sweeter skin than I've had before. The rolls were the star of the show to be honest. I've never had a better roll. Sides were what I expected. I had white rice and baked beans. The baked beans I think could have been softer and a little more tangy. I didn't like that they didn't offer or seem to offer a spicy chicken or chicken hearts and gizzards. All in all tho I'd say 4stars.
Excellent fried chicken! Super moist and great flavor. Food is made after you order, not sitting there waiting for you like dry KFC chicken. So be patient! Red beans and rice was delicious too. Friendly wait staff and owners. Can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu. I highly recommend Chicken N More.
Was in the area one day looking for a simple dinner, didn’t know I was gonna run into a serious local gem. I went back a couple days later, so was fortunate to try both the fried chicken and the ribs. The chicken is a absolute winner, not greasy and beautifully fried, so crispy and flavorful. The ribs were packed with flavor and nice and soft. The service was impeccable, super nice people and the food comes out super fast. I’ll be back, just for the home made bbq sauce. Great spot, go in and you won’t regret it!
Yes, it’s downtown Spokane. This little place has some of the best food for those who enjoy down home cooking. I went a little crazy when I ordered because I was not able to make my choices with all that was on their menu. Nonetheless, I was very pleased with every choice I made. Good chicken is hard to come by here in Spokane but rest assured, they have it here.
Just about the best southern style food I have ever had! Red beans and rice we're spot on, the catfish sandwich was hot and sooo flavorful. The rib dinner was fantastic and the friendly atmosphere was just perfect. Thank you for the excellent service and delicious food, we will be back!!!
