Food was delicious, service was friendly and quick. The restaurant was very clean and...
Great chicken sandwiches and the Cajun fries are awesome too! The sandwiches were messy as heck so if you're taking out make sure you've got a pile of napkins. Mac n cheese was mid but overall I will definitely be visiting here againFood: 4/5
Got for takeout. The fries and the French toast chicken sandwich were amazing, highly recommend. The Nashville chicken sandwich medium spicy was also very good.Food: 5/5
This place used to be something special. Their prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were large. Unfortunately tonight will be the last time I order from Chick N Flames despite their chicken being quite good. Prices continue to go up and the portion sizes continue to get smaller. You used to get a side of bread with your combo and even that is gone. Food quality just isn't what it used to be, and for the price now it just isn't worth it.
Don't let the look of this place fool you. It's daunting and liminal, yes, but the chicken sandwiches are quality. We both had their basic chicken sandwiches, hot and mild, and were not disappointed. You get a sizeable piece of chicken, the kind that tears apart in that wonderful chickeny way. Ours were obviously freshly fried--we had to wait to eat them they were so hot. They come with a sauce that I thought was a nice creamy addition but my date wished it was more flavourful in its own right. I think this is fair because the sauce is in ADDITION to a delicious creamy coleslaw which already helps to complement the spicy, crispy, delicious breading on the chicken. Overall I loved it and will be coming back to try something else.
One of the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve had in Edmonton! Will definitely come back! Food: 5/5
Bought their 12 piece chicken for $50. I thought they would be big for the price but when I opened the box I saw the smallest chicken tenders I’ve ever seen. Definitely not worth almost $5/piece.
While the burgers has the right idea, the execution could be better the powder coated seasoning on the chicken and coleslaw could be more cohesive. The chicken in the Nashville poutine was good but the fries were undercooked, and drenched in the sweet sauce which had an overpowering taste. Customer service was adequate. Overall I think the concept is great, just needs a few tweaks for the taste to match the poster pictures.
The nashive chicken poutine was okay. The chicken was good, but the fries were a little soggy and the gravy had a weird taste. The maple chicken sandwich wasn't my favorite. The chicken is good quality though.Food: 3/5
The fries are definitely the best I have ever had. Love the spice in the sandwiches. Prices are also very friendly. Some music would be niceRecommended dishesMaple Sriracha, Nashville Chicken Sandwich, Sriracha Maple Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, Fries
The Classic Nashville chicken sandwich was alright. Honestly nothing special about it whatsoever. The Cajun fries were good. However, charging $16.25 for a chicken sandwich JUST the sandwich, no fries included that's about equivalent to a McChicken from McDicks is highway robbery. I don't know why every Nashville chicken sandwich joint in edmonton seems to think their sandwich is worth so much money. I'm just salty about it, ordered it on skip and they forgot my fries.
