To start our server was Darren. Quick, amazing service from him. Always on top of drinks, on top of the bread. Offered phenomenal suggestions. The location is in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, off of 4th Street. A once upon a house, converted into one of the best if not the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at here in Vegas like better than Hells Kitchen. I was with a party of 3. One got the Fettuccine Alfredo, me along with another patron got the Seafood Joe scallops, shrimp, lobster, mushrooms, in a garlic butter sauce served on a bed of linguine. All of the entrees were OUT OF THIS WORLD. The pasta is freshly made, the seafood was phenomenal. The Alfredo is made by scratch and you can taste it too. To start they bring you out bread, the bread was fresh, warm, tasty, no butter required! But it is offered. We also got 2lbs of the baked mussels in spicy marinara. The mussels were large, there was pasta in the dish, and the marinara was phenomenal to dip the bread in. The pricing on dishes are also great! I have nothing but amazing things to say about Chicago Joe’s, if you’re a local or a tourist you MUST try this place out. Please make sure you have a reservation as well as making it well in advance!
One of the most intimate, cozy and romantic rooms in all of Las Vegas. There's not even a TV here. Nothing ruins the ambience. The servers are friendly and perfect. And the food is exactly what you want from a tasty Italian menu.
Food was great! Our server was very friendly. You can definitely taste that the sauces and pastas are home made. The antipasto salad was huge and delicious lol. The tiramisu and lava cakes are a must when coming to dine here!! Parking: Plenty of parking
My family can all agree that the bread and the garlic bread was really good. They also really liked the salad You can get garlic ranch or Italian dressing, they mostly liked the garlic ranch. You get a salad or soup with every order. I really liked my chicken marsala and my family would agree that their main course was an average good. Also I mentioned this was my birthday dinner and the owner brought me a cannoli with a candle in it
I always look at yelp/google reviews before I go anywhere.. we usually don't give somewhere a chance if under 4 stars, and for a good reason. This place had stellar reviews so we had to try it.. Unfortunately we were underwhelmed by all of it. The restaurant is very small and hard to navigate through. I think there's only like 10 table or so. But it was cute and quaint so I did like it. I ordered the cheapest red wine they had I can't tell the difference and it was $8 and came out in what appeared to be a kids glass, I like wine in a wine glass, and pretty full.. this was strange, and I felt like it should have been bigger and in an actual wine glass. My husband ordered the wedding soup and it was pretty good. I had a salad with a garlic type dressing which was interesting. It was ok, but some of the lettuce was wilted and I found a huge iceberg chunk in it .. I ordered the chicken parmesan and it was huge. But the chicken was kind of overcooked, chewy, and didn't seem like the authentic chicken parm I was used to. It came with a small side of spaghetti with marinara, I didn't really care for it, it was really bland. My husband got the lasagna and he's literally the least pickiest eater in the world and he said it was simply 'ok' he liked mine better and nothing to rave about. We won't be going here again, but glad we tried something different. I just thought it would be better
After hearing all of the hype around Chicago Joe's my wife and I had to try it out. We had some simple dishes that you would expect to not be disappointed in. Well this assumption was wrong. I had the lasagna and my wife had penne in marinara sauce. The penne was over done and the sauce tasted old. The lasagna was Luke warm in the middle and the dish it was in was so hot it could not be touched. It was not bad but resembled a Stouffer's Lasagna. Our waiter was okay but never came and refilled our drinks. I do not recommend Chicago Joe's.
Our first trip to Chicago Joe's was just ok. I think maybe we just ordered the wrong dishes because everyone around us seemed to rave about their orders. We ordered the Veal Marsala which was served with some basic pasta as a side and the Fettucine Alfredo with sausage. The sausage was really good though. We were served some fresh baked bread after our drinks and that was also really good. Our entrees came with a simple salad. Sadly it was basically just lettuce with 1 grape tomato, 1 olive, 1 cucumber, and a couple croutons. The dressing choices are Italian or creamy garlic. The creamy garlic is really good though so this made up for the salad being kinda wimpy.
Here is some really good Italian cuisine at a very affordable price. It's "off strip" in the downtown business district. They converted an old house into a quaint Italian eatery. Good eats! Parking: Maybe 10 spaces Wheelchair accessibility: ADA access in the rear door
Authentic and intimate joint. Everything was spot on especially the food. Lawrence my waiter was friendly and cordial. The cannoli was the bomb. One footnote though….using a credit card will cost you 3% added to your bill.
This was the best meal I have had in Vegas after living in the valley for almost two years. The place is small and intimate, the staff is friendly and personable, and the food is wonder. We ordered the baked clams, baked tortellini photo attached, and a special of crab raviolis and jumbo shrimp photo attached. This is going to be a new favorite of ours but we will probably pass on the appetizer next time since the portions are big.
