Ordered the spicy chicken rice bowl … was a little bit disappointed in the spice level - it could have been spicier. But the chicken was still crispy even though it was take out. Purple or black rice mixture was a nice touch.
Order via Ubereat for the first time. Fried chicken arrived crispy still. Portion is bigger than expected. I ordered the honey garlic flavour. Will try other flavour next time.Recommended dishesKorean Fried Chicken, Honey Garlic
Very tasty The chicken flavor selections are outstanding. I have to go back to try the other choices. Good and clean restaurant. Best fried Korean chicken!Food: 5/5
Not only are their chibap bowls delicious, the portions they give are huge! It was loaded with so much chicken that i could barely finish it. They also use purple rice as well which i much appreciate.Food: 5/5
Just wow.. Hidden gem of a place. The place is really small with few seats and the ambience is good. The food was the highlight as the Korean fried chicken was really good and flavourful. We ordered a Yang-nyeom chicken bowl and a deep fried mandu. The fried chicken in the chicken bowl was really good. It had a subtle sweet flavour alongside the light spiciness. The quantity of the bowl was also really good. The mandu was also really tasty and crispy. The pricing is also very nominal. The service person also took the time to explain the ingredients of the food we ordered as we had few questions. Definitely must visit place. Will be definitely visiting again to try other varieties..
Food: 4 Stars Service: 5 Stars Value: 4 Stars Overall: 4.33 Stars My first time ordering take-out from here, I was delighted with the service and food quality. I ordered the Po+Chi Box 20.00 CAD, which gives you a variety of both Chibap fried chicken and Hoki Poke. Beautifully proportioned and presented, the box is very nice, especially if you're craving fried chicken and poke. You also get five choices of protein to choose from for your poke. I chose the raw salmon, which was very fresh and delicious. The fried chicken wasn't too oily, but I did find the Crispy Fried Chicken to be a bit bland and flavourless. The Yang-Nyeom Fried Chicken had more flavour, and I really enjoyed it. The service was very friendly and welcoming. I didn't stay to dine in, but the atmosphere looked clean and upbeat; great for catching up with friends.
Great Korean fried chicken! Crunchy and saucy! Spivey if you want it! Highly recommend!
Great Korean fried chicken place that focuses on rice bowls. you get a large amount of freshly made chicken over purple rice and a bit of lettuce. You can call ahead to order.Food: 5/5
Food was really good and portions are great for the price. I got the chicken bowl and could only finish half and the other half was basically a whole meal. Friends got a bulgogi bowl and could only finish half too. Appetizers were delicious. Servers were really great too. Went with a group of 5 and they gave us dumplings on the house. Only thing is it's more of a fast food joint than a restaurant. We didn't get any water with our order and I assume we would have had to pay for it. Otherwise, highly recommend.
Friendly staff and delicious fried chicken. Can take up to 20 mins so make sure to order in advance. Check out our Instagram @eatwithjessandjohn for more local eats. $13.95 // - We loved the sweet and mildly spicy flavour of this chicken! In conjunction with the purple rice in the bowl and mayo, lettuce, it was so delicious! Note that the chicken used in the bowl is not the same as the chicken for the korean fried chicken there were some cartilage pieces whereas the fried chicken doesn't have any $16.95 // This chicken was extremely crispy and flavourful on its own. The onions that come separately had a very sharp vinegar taste so we enjoyed just dipping the chicken in the sauce rather than pouring the onions on the chicken.
